As to your question, you can create as many MYREs as you want. You can create 10 MYRE1-1s and run each as many times as you want. You just can't share what you created it (unless you co-authored, then you and the one other co-author can each run it). A PC can play an individual MYRE only once, but the player can replay it with other PCs and any PC can play more than one MYRE1-1, so long as they are unique. |

| #4redberserkerNov 16, 2009 23:18:12 | I have another question about MYRE adventures.... Could I run a Dungeon Magazine adventure or part of a published adventure as a MYRE? Or does Official Adventure (as described in the MYRE guide) mean just a LFR official adventure or any published WoTC or 3rd party adventure? |
| #5AlphastreamNov 17, 2009 1:06:43 | I have another question about MYRE adventures.... From what admins have said, it sounds as if you can use other WotC (non-LFR) adventures as the basis for your MYRE. Now, keep in mind that it should be an LFR adventure. If you took a mod like Castle Greyhawk... well, you would have to make some changes to make it fit (change all the gods, all the history, the location, several NPCs, the name of the place... you would really be just pulling ideas from CG and into your castle in the Realms). You want to still portray a Realms experience as much as possible. You could also borrow from non-WotC sources. Again, just keep the game grounded in FR. Otherwise, you could just run an RPGA home game in any campaign world. Keep those questions coming, and everyone please speak up if you have ideas about the MYRE or DME portion of the Quick Guide to DME thread. |
| #6redberserkerNov 17, 2009 10:05:16 | IMHO I don't see how that could be a problem as long as I modified the adventure to be in the Realms and follow the guidelines for treasure, magic items and xp. And to keep it around 4 hours. |

They are long enough to be satisfying and short enough to finish in 4-5 hours. And so far, they have all been really interesting. Just remember that My Realms adventures cannot be distributed, so only you (and potentially one co-author) can run your adaptation, even if it is an adaptation of a Dungeon adventure. |
