I was just wondering, I've DMed a few LFR modules so far and was wondering if anyone else rewrites the adventures to make the skill challenges and dialogue portions run smoother and be more entertaining. I am considering doing this for my next game just to try it out but wanted to know if anyone has done it before and if so how did it go?

I frequently skip the box-text and paraphrase. Skill challenges are mostly roleplaying.

Paraphrasing boxed text is pretty common.   Substantial changes to how an adventure works probably don't technically qualify as permissible under DM Empowerment (see the Campaign Guide for details), but if you're running a private game, and your players are cool with your changes, more power to you, IMO.

Also, just a friendly reminder that this forum is a "legacy" forum from prior to the development of the Wizards Community; there is an LFR group on the "new" forums, which is where the campaign's official forums reside.  Importantly, the campaign staff moderates the new forums, and is usually quite good at quickly replying to questions.   Also, there's just a lot more traffic on the new forums, and you're more likely to get more responses to your question there, so you may want to re-post there.

You can find the new forums here:
community.wizards.com/lfr/go/forum/viewb...

Note that you'll likely need to join the LFR group there before you can post.
