| #1atrasSep 30, 2009 12:20:16 | My LFR Dwarf Paladin of Tempus is about to hit level 3, and in one more adventure he should be able to buy a Symbol of Brawn (from AV2). I just wanted to get some feedback on an ungodly amount of damage that he should be able to do in one round, once per day. Mark an enemy up to 5 squares away with Divine Challenge. Use another minor to trigger Righteous Rage of Tempus, then, using Call to Arms (Implement attack, CHA vs Will) to pull that enemy adjacent to me, and make a secondary weapon attack, hitting for 2W damage. As a free action, activate the Symbol of Brawn's Daily power, letting me make a basic melee attack, and deal an extra 1d10 damage if the enemy is marked. Since the RRoT is based on the next weapon attack, the encounter power will get the bonus dice (I use an Executioner's Axe +2) that will be a 5d12+CHA attack (with 3 of the d12s rerolling 1s and 2s), followed by another 1d12+CHA+1d10 attack. Assuming all three attacks hit, this comes out to a minimum of 27 damage, a maximum of 94 and an average of 60.5, right? |

Huh...never seen a Charismadin Tempite...most go the easy route and just be a half-orc straladin...RRoT+Heedless Fury+Furious Assault for 7d12+str every encounter, no daily abilities or action points needed...average of 50.5 from the dice alone (5 brutal 2's, 2 non from enhancement) granted your setup does slightly better damage due to 2 applications of static modifiers, but it should be better considering you are using a daily item power. |

Of course, once I started looking at my feat options, RRoT became totally obvious. I just wish the domain powers for Tempus' followers lined up with CHA attacks, but it fits STR better. |

Right, because most Dwarf Paladins worship Moradin over Tempus... ...oh wait, they don't.
(Note: Not being snide towards you in any way - simply using faceciousness to highlight the unfortunate truth that is RRoT. Isn't it sad that I have to use these disclaimers?) |
| #6atrasOct 06, 2009 15:00:27 | Buuurn! Well, from a RP point of view, anyway, my Dwarf is a little different from other dwarves, even if Tempus is popular among the divine champions of battle. I'll be in the corner, crying myself to sleep, now. |

The Temple of Tempus in Earthheart seems to be getting a bit dusty of late. Curiously, the services at the Temple of Amanautor seem to be quite well attended these last couple of months.... |
