I play it that as the power is used during normal round movement and attack are used and only minor is left. My question is using the power with an action point. 1. Since the power is special attack allow both the movement and attack. This gives the monk a bit of an edge but only using an action point. 2. Allow only the movement or attack of the power. Which meets the intent of the acton point but the power is lacking. 3. Not allow the use of the power. This limits the monk as cannot use a lot of powers. About all that is left is second wind. What are your opinions. With new powers and characters coming out I am sure similar issue will arise with combinations. |

They can spend a standard action for the attack part OR a move action for the move part, but not BOTH with one action. A monk that spends an action point can use the extra action for either the attack or move part of these types of powers, and can even use a different Full Discipline power when spending an action point. It would probably do you good to thoroughly read through the rules regarding Full Discipline powers and monks. |

During a single turn, you can only use the attack and/or movement technique from a single full discipline power, and they are a separate move and standard action. I don't believe you are required to use the move technique if you use the attack technique, and vice versa; you can just use a move action to make a regular move and use a full discipline attack technique (or not even move at all), or you can use a full discipline movement technique and then use an attack that isn't a full discipline (i.e. the daily attack powers.) I'm also under the impression that you can use the movement and attack techniques from encounter full discipline power during different rounds, but of course you can only use each once per encounter. Please correct me on this if that isn't the case. It also clearly states that when you spend an action point, you can switch to a different full discipline power for that action. So you can use the movement and attack technique from one full discipline power, and then if you action point you can use the attack technique (or movement if you wish) from a different full discipline power. |

It's still a single encounter power, not two different powers. Once it's used, it's used. |
