How can I make it so I can use a Large Executioners Axe ????

Is this possible ? Is there a Feat ?

Nope, no feat. Hopefully they will never make one. (although I think there's a paragon Path or epic destiny that allows it)

There is indeed an epic destiny that allows you to wield a large weapon. Eternal Defender from Martial Power at 24th level.

There's a reason they'll never allow oversized for a PC race. It's just too overpowered. ED's don't count... the game goes crazy at epic lol.

Shock troppers "effectively" wield large weapons but only if said weapon is "off hand" That is at level 11

But it would be so much fun for my minotaur to be swinging a large executioners axe !!!!

From a flavor perspective you can call it an overlarge axe all you want.

The mechanics, however, will remain the same.

Agreed on that, but what I was hoping for was for me to be swinging a 2D6 Axe with brutal 2 instead of a D12 axe Brutal 2, lol. Hopin for the best.
But of course...it is all good the way it is.

It's funny. I did the math on the large brutal weapons when I was building characters for the ultimate dungeon delve and considering using the bugbear as a race. I found that even when you do the 2d6 with brutal 2, it's still not shockingly better than some alternatives.

Consider - the average damage on a roll of a d6 is 3.5. (range 1-6). When you have brutal 2, all this effectively does is reduce the range of possible outcomes to 3-6 - which averages to 4.5 damage. So, having an oversized exe axe improves your average damage over a normal exe axe by a whopping... two. (3.5+3.5 = 7, 4.5+4.5 = 9.)

Now, in addition to the cost of the feature in the bugbear, you have to use a feat to take the axe. Let's also not forget that the exe axe is a +2 proficiency item. You could take a greataxe without the oversized and without the feat and get just 2.5 less average damage. Or, you could take a greatsword - with 3.5 less average damage, no feat and no feature - and have an extra +1 to hit, which in a lot of statistical analyses, dependent on the level of character we're talking about, equals close to a +2 damage bonus.

All that said, a minotaur with a large exe axe would visualize to approximately hella cool.

I do notice the difference between hitting more often with less damage and hitting less often with more damage. (If I have +3 to attack and do 5 points but the other guy has +2 to attack but does 7 points...then in the long run, prolly the +3 to attack will do more damage.)

But if you look at a minotaur barbarian using a large executioners axe as compared to a regular sized one...the numbers speak for themselves. (this example of course we are only comparing axes to axes not axes to swords)

My minotaur is lets say +14 to hit and +10 to damage with executioners axes

Regular sized on a 3W rage hit..... 3D12 + 10 = minimum 9 (brutal 2 [3]D12 rolls) + 10 (base damage)= 19

Large size on a 3W rage hit....... 6D6 + 10 = minimum 18 (brutal 2 [6]D6 rolls) + 10 (base damage) = 28.

of course that is just comparing 3W damages but you know what I mean. I am just comparing the same weapon to itself which is obviously going to be better than the smaller version, but who wants to take the smart thing all the time for the best plus to hit and more consistent damage ?? it is not always about numbers but what you look like running after the bad guys with a two handed axe over your head, screaming a battle cry at them.....or holding a pointy tooth pick at him saying, "excuse me, I'd like to get by now"

I agree. I had a lot of people scoff at me for taking Exe axe with my Minobarb instead of the Fullblade because of the prof issue. Frankly, I haven't missed the extra +1. I hit a lot. I try to make sure all my powers are 3[W] powers. I have been running roughshod over Scepter Tower. If that +1 makes a big difference, I haven't been able to see it.

What powers you take ?? and feats ??

I went rageblood vigor and not so much for feats right now. Just the basics...am going to tap into the opportunity gore and shove in a bit, but I had the opportunity gore for a couple levels but could not get an AoO.

Over heroic tier I have been planning on taking feats such as Powerful Charge, Weapon Focus, etc. to up his damage. His PP is goign to be Beastblood Minotaur, so I also planning on beefing up his Goring attack since the PP uses it a lot.

Why do you have 2 axes?

My guess is because one of them has a useful daily power and the other one is better if you aren't using the daily from the first.
