Now that Bloodclaw is no longer above and beyond the best weapon enchantment what has everyone moved their characters on to or planned to move their characters on to?

I made/plan to make the following changes for my characters:

Great Weapon Fighter - Radiant Weapon/Radiant Dragonshard
Barbarian - Frost Weapon/Gloves of Ice/Lasting Frost/Frost Dragonshard
Tempest Fighter - Undecided

Good question, since I never took it for any of my characters.  I always found other weapons to be of better use for my PCs.

It never was above and beyond the best weapon enchantment to begin with.  It was very good and abuseable in some builds but not the best for everyone, anyone using a one handed weapon, or not making melee attacks with weapons but using them as an implement didn't really care about it at all.

besides, are you just asking to fill in your personal nerf wishlist (your words not mine) or are you just having a discussion?

Since I never used a bloodclaw on any of my builds I won't be making any changes.

Same here (and I have about 6 PCs who use great weapons).

Good point. It would be nice if they nerfed dragonshards by making them item bonuses and just excised lasting frost and/or the frost weapon's interaction with it.

Probably not what you were looking for, though. I guess maybe Summer weapon might fit on your list. I actually think both Rending and Reaping would be fun, though they're probably not terribly optimal. But, whee, extra attack

Isn't Summer Weapon from Dungeon? Is Dungeon a player legal source?

Rending and Reaping are both cool. I considered them myself but they aren't compatible with the weapons my characters use.

Maybe I'm crazy but my daggermaster rogue uses a wraithblade +3, i had the choice of a weapon level 15 or lower and I chose it over the bloodiron, a bit more upfront damage compared to backend damage, on anything but a solo I think it works out better anyway.

My Fighter uses a force execution axe and has inescapable force, I smile with pure evil glee when we fight insubstantial monsters.

Dwarven Battle Cleric has a berserkers execution axe, hardly optimal but fun.

Bard uses Faervian, the +3 sunblade.

Could be that it's from there. Don't believe it's a legal source.

On the other hand, in LFR I use whatever I happen to find. Which is why my Warlord has a bloodclaw and my fighter has a sunblade. I imagine I'll upgrade them when I find +4 versions of something else that's nifty, rather than some specific build weapon. Do you really have a different option yourself?

Though it might take some convincing on getting my fighter to switch off from using Faervian. Cause for a guy named Blader, having a cool blade is important.
