How do you get a low level character into the current 4-7 range?

I don't have a group, and my character needs to be 4-7 level to be able to participate in any current event, right? How can I fix this?

You cant without playing a number of modules to get you to that level. Otherwise you are just sol

"Current" event? There are still level 1-4 mods available to play...I know that you don't have a group, so that makes it hard. But if you don't have a group that'll play, what were you going to do with a 4-7th level character anyway?

There are events already out for 1-4, 4-7, and 7-10 ranges.

More adventures of all ranges continue to be released as time goes by.

This is not a campaign that only has one level range that increases as time goes by.

There will be adventures released for all level ranges across the life of the campaign.

I think he might be going to a convention where the only offerings are 4-7. Just my guess

Pretty poor planning, if I do say so myself. Looking at the GenCon event offering, it has the MINI 1-1, CORE 1-13, SPEC 1-3. You ought to be able to get to 4th level with a few Open Play slots thrown in there. Now, you'd probably have spent your whole GenCon experience @ Sagamore, but that's a decision you'd have to make on your own.

Except for the SPEC, all the low level stuff is sold out. Generics and prayer is theonly way to get into them now.

What about Open Play events? There might be a lot of opportunity to level up your character there.

Just pointing out what is possible with a well planned con.

One possible way is to play some mods online.

Good idea on the online play. I've just started an online group as well that will be playing on July 25th in EAST1-1.

Send me a private message to get an invite to the Yahoo Group.

There's already Online Gameday and RPGA Group (for those using Fantasy Grounds software), do we need another yahoo group for it?

EDIT: Whoops, forgot that there's also a Maptools online game group group as well.

What RPGA Group is there that uses Fantasy Grounds software?

Thanks. I had no idea that existed. If it works the way I think it does, I'll just post my events there and discontinue my own group.

Could try playing online. I'm in the yahoo RPGA group and we regularly do RPGA modules with fantasygrounds. It's all I have since I can't find any live events in my area
