Halfling Rogue (or any other DEX/CHA races that may come down the pike) MC with Bard taking the Daring Blade bard PP that was just published in Dragon.

Specifically i think it sounds good for this reason alone:

Blade Feint (16th):You can use Bluff to gain combat advantage against an enemy by spending a minor action instead of a standard action. If you succeed and hit the enemy with a melee weapon attack before the start of your next turn, the target grants you combat advantage until you miss the target with an attack.

Sneak Attack city! It isn't hard to get a nice To Hit bonus with a Rogue so keeping the CA goign wouldn't be too hard. Since you won't even have to take any power swap feats if you don't want to, this sounds like a great path for a Rogue. Thoughts?

I've been considering this since the article emerged. I've even considered a 20 Cha, 16 Dex version, given the level 11 feature.

Does it let you use Bluff to do so more than once per encounter? (normal limitation on bluff for CA)

Guess I'll check out the class later today

It depends on your interpretation, but I would be inclined to say "no." I'm more intrigued by the feature that lets you use Cha for attack and damage on all martial melee weapon attacks. It can lead to a lot of fun combinations if you can suffer through heroic tier.

I just remembered that Changelings would work well too. AFAIK you still have the 1/encounter limitation, but you put it on the nasty you really want tobeat up on and you have a reasonable shot at keeping CA against them until they go down.

Reminds me a bit of the half-elf bard feat. Clearly, a half-elf rogue/bard daring blade with twin strike or pressing strike at-will, bla bla, etc

Compare with the Master Spy's ability (11th level): "If your check beats the enemy’s Insight check, the enemy grants combat advantage to you and your allies until the end of your next turn."

So, choice is: SA until you miss, or combat advantage for all. Then again, I love the 16th level power of getting the beneficial effects of the enemy aura's and powers for 1 turn ;)

There are more ways then one to get that Bluff as a minor action.

Pressing Strike is a primal power, but you clearly get the gist ;)

Yeah, you'd want Combat Virtuoso for Pressing Strike. Anyhow, interesting.

So many characters, so little time.
