| #1im_robertbJul 26, 2009 12:16:40 | I know this is absurd, but because of my general dislike for the column, I want to ask. The CCG allows all content from Dragon magazine, yes? Dragon 375, page 121, we have Oso the Circus Bear, a ridiculously overpowered familiar. A new version was put out in Dragon 376, page 75 that could be considered balanced. As Dragon magazine content, is either version LFR legal? |
| #2kenobi65Jul 26, 2009 13:40:44 | In the compiled issue #376, Oso's stat block (the "balanced" one) does *not* contain the keyword "Familiar". I'm not 100% positive, but I think that this omission may make it not legal for RPGA play. |

| #4pedrJul 26, 2009 16:58:17 | As written in the compiled Dragon magazine, Oso is not, technically, a familar, as he does not have the familar keyword. So there would be no legal way to select him as a familiar, as the feat tells you to choose a familiar, and he is not one. |
