| #2HerrbardJun 02, 2009 5:38:54 | Just so you know: Using the sblock tag does not stop the picture from downloading to slow connections. It still downloads, it just is not visible until you click on the "spoiler" button. So you have folks with slow connections just looking at the page going "why is this taking so long?" ![]() Yes, I have the slow dial-up connection. And it is still downloading the pictures, even as I type this. :P |

| #4ferol_debtor_of_tormJun 02, 2009 18:22:01 | I've commisioned a few pieces from AvatarArt. They do amazing work. If you have the money I highly recommend them. http://www.avatarart.com/CustomCharacterPortraits/ Here is my Orc fighter, Truk. ![]() Edit: The internet is hard. How does one attach the image itself instead of a link? Edit2: Ah ha! Take that internet, your secrets are mine. |
| #5arlifeJun 03, 2009 1:33:06 | I have to agree with Ferol(Though his obsession with it is unsettling) Avatarart does great work. Check out my Brave-Lord Malak ![]() |
| #6Dragon9Jun 03, 2009 8:46:07 | I checked out their site. Pretty slick, although I will say, the ones I had done were cheaper than they charge for a color portrait. The top portrait was by Bokuman and cost $70 (render style w/lineart) The bottom one was by Cessa and cost $20. (base price was $15 but I was asking for a higher level of detail) If you look around on Deviant art you can find a lot of folks willing to do commissions for fairly cheap that are really good. |
