Running around with a Bravura Warlord, so I'm thinking that, one encounter per day, I can get the extra Promise (+1 to hit, +2d8+4 dam.) damage on like seven attacks. I'll be buying some Genasi-soul armor directly as well. ====== Created Using Wizards of the Coast D&D Character Builder ====== FINAL ABILITY SCORES STARTING ABILITY SCORES

| #4eudemonistDec 21, 2009 15:24:21 | I had it for a long time, but haven't used it much lately, as I tend to be well out of combat. I tend to use the Ray of Frost as a little bit of control, often in conjunction with the Wall of Fire. |

I tend to use the Ray of Frost as a little bit of control, often in conjunction with the Wall of Fire. I'm surprised to hear that. You could use it as a powerful combo from three squares away (four if you take enlarge spell, five if you take resounding thunder) to push enemies into your many zone powers, like icy terrain, stinking cloud, web, and wall of fire. Come to think of it, your build would probably benefit from enlarge spell and resounding thunder. |
| #6eudemonistDec 22, 2009 12:02:02 | The only reason I've been avoiding Enlarge Spell is because I use multiple damage dice. I'd end up at like -8 to damage most of the time, which is a pretty big hit. Granted, I don't HAVE to use it, so I'll probably end up taking it eventually, but it hasn't been priority for me. Now that I have War Wizardry, I may go back to the T-Wave, because the push effect IS pretty useful. I dropped a couple twenty-something-pointers on a few allies early on, and they didn't appreciate it too much. |
