| #1bkuzmeskiJun 27, 2010 21:57:41 | I am considering joining a LFR game and have some confusion about the concept of 'regions'. Please forgive me if this has been asked but I have searched faqs and forums and haven't found an answer. Does my character need to be from the Faerun region that is mapped to my actual region? In other words, sinec I am in the northeast, do I have to be from Corymr? Thanks in advance for your help, - netgeist |

You DO NOT have to have your character from the region you physically live in. Rather the idea behind them was to give a physical place where everyone that also lived there would have a place in the lFR world that you might work together to develop and buy-in to. Note that next year, the idea of regions will be going away, and being replaced with story areas (see the New Direction blog post on the LFR community page for more info). |
