I'd give it a shot! The problem is, I'm really not sure how best to capture his abilities. I would feel weird making him anything other than a Small creature, so that right there limits you to Halflings, Gnomes, Kobolds, and other such little guys. Swordplay is a must, and operating with light (or no) armor is greatly preferable to heavy stuff. I figure that puts him in a Striker or Defender role, perhaps with some Controller mixed in for his abilities to use the Force, or Leader for his ability to direct troops in battle. At the moment, my build is Gnome Hybrid (Swordmage/Warlord), but I could easily see making him an Avenger/Psion, a Fighter/Monk, maybe even an Ardent/Battlemind... psionics seem to lend themselves well to representation of The Force. So, do you have any suggestions? How would you create a young and growing version of the Little Green Jedi? |

Aegis of assault would allow you to fly all over the place punishing your mark. Make sure to give yourself a decent wisdom. Go forth old Jedi. |

| #6BRJNDec 11, 2010 20:01:35 | I think I would go with Halfling rather than Gnome, becauae I've never seen Yoda become invisible (pardon the pun) but I have seen him get out of scrapes that should have had him cold. Get the feat Lost in the Crowd; the more enemies that come for you, the harder it is for any of them to hit! A hybrid psion/swordmage seem the closest to his abilities. Take the telekinetic psion features; he moves stuff around with a thought but can't read your mind. I'm not familiar with hybrid battleminds but you could use that instead of swordmage. If so, MC swordmage via the feat that allows you to create your sword out of nothing. Oh, and ask your DM if Yoda can get free shots at the ankles of anything Large or larger - think of the scene in Episode 2 where Count Dooku and Yoda fought; Dooku's lightsaber did not reach the floor because he is so tall. |
