I wouldn't hold my breath on them opening up the MM for general use. That is 99.9% likely to stay off the Player Resources list in the CCG. The Minotaur as player character was opened up in Dragon 369 (IIRC). It is the same as the MM entry but doesn't have the Oversized racial feature. |
| #6WolfStar76Jan 10, 2009 11:59:15 | Keep in mind that the races in the back of the Monster Manual are listed as races for the DM to use to create NPCs. It just so happens that several of these, with little or no change, are "harmless" as player races. Further, unocking the entirety of the Monster Manual would lead to people wanting unlocks from the Monster Manual II, III, IV, etc. We can only speculate what "races" we might see in those. |
