Hello, I'm inquiring about upgrades on these forums today.
Here are my current stats/items
All suggestions welcome

HP 103
AC 28

Fort 17
Reflex 9
Will 12

Items:
+1 Longsword
+2 Full Plate with BlueShine
+2 Heavy Steel Shield
+2 Ring of Protection
Ring of Adamantine Touch
Helm of Glorious Recovery
Amulet of Health
+2 Cloak of CHA
+1 Vest of Resistance
Belt of Priestly Might
Anklet of Translocation (2 for when first is used for the day)

Bracers of Blinding Strike
Wand of Cure Light Wounds
Charm of the Fey (Freedom of Movement once/adventure)
Wis Ioun Stone
[Face slot is open]

Feats:
Weapon Focus [Longsword]
True Believer
Power Attack
Divine Might
Leadership [Cleric/Rad Servant Cohort]
Weapon Spec.
Melee Weapon Mastery

I recently also came into possession of a Pegasus mount as my special mount.

I have a favor to bump any ability score by +1 for 10,000gp.

I have "any" access to Moderate Fortification as per a one-time-use favor.

The current plan is to get the +1 stat bump to CHA as per my favor when I reach level twelve (another point in CHA) and then pursue an upgrade to my Charisma Cloak.

With my new mount, the Anklets aren't of so much use anymore
Anyone have ideas for new "boots"?

How about items for my flying mount?

What about a feat selection at level 12? [I'm thinking Extra Smiting, Mounted Combat, or Close Quarters Fighting]
I'm usually using two One More Time Campaign Cards, aside from four smites a day.

When do you get 2nd level spells out of Pious Templar? I would suggest looking for a way to take advantage of that. Ie. get your wisdom to 12 - best option is probably an ioun stone if you have access.

** update, gained access to WIS Ioun Stone and purchased it **

I would take a look at 2nd level paladin spells (I'm not familiar with them) and see how they stack up to the extra oomph on your smites and the +1 to saves. If 2nd level spells are good - and I suspect they are - you might consider just going with the bump to wisdom and forgoing the stat bump option. You can always find something to spend 10k on.

I have access to any armor or shield enhancement of my choosing (I'm thinking Displacement (MIC) to my full plate.

That's an illegal favour.
Whether it's an old AR that should have Errata or a new one that should never have been approved, that favour is not supposed to exist in LG.

I recently have acquired these following favors:

-provide access to any one non-open, non-closed feat.**
-provide access to any one non-open, non-closed prestige class.**
-provide access to any one non-open, non-closed spell.**

-You may purchase any magical item in the DMG up to and including 250,000 gold pieces at the discount of 25%**

-Alternately, you may choose to points for access to items. You must still purchase them as normal, but you may trade points for items on a 1 point for 5,000 gold piece item access, up to 200,000 gold piece items. Items must be non-evil, non-necromatic, non-psionic items. **

**These are proposed items to be added to ARs / AR requests from a Triad.**

If you have any good ideas for what my character should get, feel free to comment.

I can get Holy on my weapon or a Ring of Evasion :O

If those favors make it onto an AR, I will be highly disappointed. Favours of that sort were specifically removed (ie, Voided) when LGCS 7 came out.

Ok, if so, then that saves future mistakes. Anyway, I have two of these such favors:

"You gain one time access (frequency:any) to purchase an upgrade to a magical item from the following list: weapon, armor, shield, (etc). It only affects enhancement bonuses for armor, shields, or weapons. This upgrade may increase the bonus by more than one point but may not result in a final bonus in excess of +5."

"[name] arranges one +1 enhancement improvement for any weapon, shield, armor, (etc) to a maximum of +4. Wizard PCs may instead copy two spells..."

Both of those refer to enhancement bonuses. That's the raw +(#) of the weapon - so +1 to +2 or +2 to +3.

There are others favors which grant access to, for example "+1 equivalent special qualities from table X which could be crafted by a (class)".

That's legal... The AR requests from KEO8s... wow, not legal much?

Yeah, you don't even need favours for these anymore - the LGCS gives access to straight +X enhancement bonuses.

Well, yeah, there's that too.

Sorta like I weep bitter, bitter tears every time I see Heward's Handy Haversack on a year 8 AR.

Or grey guard access, with a TU cost. I mean, really? Did they not LOOK at the LGCS when they made the AR request?

How about an "easy" way to get Evasion, besides saving for the ring or multiclassing?

I can get the ring down to 18,750 with a favor, but that is still quite a large chunk of change (and about 10k gp away)

Divine Oracle levels are an OK multiclassing target, if WEIRD for a Paladin.

In general I'd rather see a couple of Rogue levels with added Staggering Strike. I wouldn't want to give up the BAB&HP for DO but it's not terrible.

Personally I would just live without Evasion.

Yah, the Ring is really the option now... although I want to next stat bump my charisma (10,000 gp favor) and then get Holy on my Longsword (maybe).

Other nice accesses may come up. I really need a face/eye slot item though!

Oh, well. There's an interesting thing about those illegal AR items. They're only requests as of this moment. They're currently awaiting approval.

And that "Trade Points for Access" favor deserves a clarification. The "Points" in question are unused favors from a large list of Keoland higher ups. So you're spending favors to gain access to certain things.

It's the favors that are worded "You gain access to two "not open not closed" feats, (or spells, or prestige classes.) that are the sticking points.

But, really, can't we have our cheesecake and eat it too? The campaign IS ending after all. And that Keocon Battle Interactive was TOUGH. Out of a hundred people there were probably 15 to 20 who died. Heck, the writers had gotten all that they legally could out of the encounters and didn't expect the PCs to win either.

Yet we did. Despite all the difficulties and having to kill an epic character as one step to victory.

If they're awaiting approval now they're too late ;)

Nothing can be approved for LG any more.

Really? I thought circle level stuff was still allowed, they just couldn't release mods.

You would think that they could release ARs for published adventures.
