Yes, a half-elf can gain those weapon proficiencies as part of Improved Weapon Familiarity. 2. Yes, according to LGCS 597CY, you have open access to the Elven Courtblade and Elven Thinblade. As for the Keoland meta-org that grants access, most likely the meta-org was created before the weapons were made open access. 3. The Kensai is a closed PrC in LG, so you can never gain access to it. |

| #4timlagorMay 24, 2008 14:19:08 | NB: you can gain proficiency in those weapons by taking the Weapon Familiarity feat but you will not have the EWP feat and therefore won't qualify for some things [specifically Champion of CL] (though some GMs might let you get away with it). |

You will not specifically have the EWP feat. You will have the actual exact benefit required if you have Martial Proficiency. From a spirit of the rules, I think it is quite clear that you do have what Champion of CL wants. This is one of those "Editor of Book X can't be sure you bought Book Y." i.e. they don't list every possible way of qualifying for something. |
