Am I the only person ever that still plays Nentir Vale?

This place is REALLY inactive. I posted a question about NV lore a few months ago, no replies, still fourth or fifth from the top.

If I can't get answers about NV here, where else should I go, as well?

The Nentir Vale is great.  I'm converting all the old adventures to D&D 5E to host some online adventures in teh Vale.  I love the setting.  Its simple yet rich with lore.  One of my favorite all-time settings.

I really miss the vale. Since transitioning to 5E, we've been in the Forgotten Realms and it's not one of my favorites. It's just too busy. Too much already established to accidentally step on. And some of my players have read a ton of the novels and stuff so they're always kind of bothered by me screwing it up (they don't really mind and don't complain but i can see it in their face that they recognize things I'm doing that are not "correct"). Anyway, yeah, one more bump for Nentir Vale.

One sign of life from another Nentir Vale fan. We played for about one and a half years (roughly 30 sessions) in the Nentir Vale. Two months ago I started a new campaign in the same setting with a bunch of D&D beginners. The setting is small enough so that the players don't get overwhelmed by the possibilities of travel but it can hosts so many interesting bits and pieces that they will have enough things to do for ages. It has this feel that the player characters can have a real impact on their relative small but meaningful world and that the world is a bit more mysterious and unknown then let's say the Realms. I like it a lot and look forward to my players getting acquainted with the cozy hamlet Nenlast and its terrible, terrible secret

Nice ludwig, I'm pumped because we just wrapped our 2 year 5E campaign, finished level 20 and fought a Tarrasque. Now, we will spend some time transitioning (play some new games, take some time off) but eventually go back to our 4E Nentir Vale campaign. It went on hiatus after a near TPK in Tomb of Horrors 4E and then we jumped into the 5E playtest and kept with it through until now at level 20. I like 5E but am a little burnt out on it (as I was in 4E after 2 years). But now I'm excited to get back to 4E and a big reason for that is The Nentir Vale setting. Lots of cool monsters and plot hooks I want to use.

I am currently taking my kids through a Nentir Vale campaign.  It is their first D&D experience and it is perfect.  We did Keep on the Shadowfell (with many modifications) and are now in the midst of Thunderspire Labyrinth.   Fun stuff.  Perfect setting for them.

Wizards of the Coast is going to delete this forum. :-(

Please come over to the Nentir Vale forum at The Piazza, where we would love to have all of you join the Nentir Vale fans there.

It would also be great if you could move over some of your discussions. See my: Please archive your content at the Nentir Vale forum at The Piazza topic for details on that.
