| #1LieberungMay 09, 2014 3:33:07 | Greetings, im currently DM'ing the H1-H3 campaign (Orcus conversion) with some home brew side scenarios, but the players are getting a bit tired of dungeon crawl at the end of Thunderspire Labyrinth. Next up in the storyline is the Pyramid of Shadows, another dungeon crawl.. So I want to postpone the Pyramid somewhat and give the players some time in between to venture on some other minor stories, make acquaintances with important people and factions in the vale, people that have noticed the PC's heroic accomplishments. I want to use some of the stories from the Monster Vault to leverage the campaing storyline with political power struggle involing Gray Company, the Iron Cirlcle, and perhaps the Fell court.
Im currently trying to understand the Gray Companys motivation, and how they may rise to power. There are two important relics the Gray Company wants to get hold of : TheThreefold Crown and the Sword of Nerath, but I cant find much information on it (and cant find them in the D&D Compendium) other than whats written in the Monster Vault:
"Gray Company, including at least one self-proclaimed heir to Nerath's fallen throne, seek the most-powerful relics of
Do anyone here know of any more official or unofficial material covering those relics? |

Please, anyone have any info on the Sword of Nerath and the fabled Threefold Crown ? |

If they couldn't give us a full gazetteer of the Nentir Vale/Nerath setting, I would have liked one big adventure that looked at the legacy of Nerath. Either one big book (like Revenge of the Giants) or a series of adventures in Dungeon (like SoW). Maybe it could have involved gathering the Threefold Crown or something.
I knew it wouldn't ever happen, though... |
