| #1backstabbistJan 12, 2009 12:12:51 | Its not to hard to pick the dice for a 2-12 bellcurve, grab 2d6. Its a little harder to find a linear 1-17 or 1-13. What methods do you guys use for the funky rolls like d16 or d17? What about BINARY for the really obtuse rolls? Set a denomination for each digit, like Penny=1s Nickle=2s Dime=4s Quarter=8s Count the Heads as "on" Penny Dime = 5 Penny Nickle Quarter = 13 For a d11 roll, 2Dimes & 1Nickle & 1Penny, (DimeDimePenny heads = 9) |

Besides, you guys have seen how many times folks say Damage is NonLinear, I'm just playing with some nDegree damage curves by dice. If it works out, I'll post |
