| #2dulsiJan 13, 2010 11:29:37 | I don't have my book to look at but they are probably the same. Even if they aren't there is nothing to stop you from using the D&D chart. If the players are advancing too slow or fast you can simply give more or less XP. |
| #3The-Mage-KingJan 13, 2010 11:41:58 | Er... I kinda signed up for a Naruto d20 game without checking my copy of the SRD, so I need to know for my purposes as a player. Yeah... |
| #4rustam1Jan 13, 2010 12:03:02 | for d20 Modern it has always been a simple math progression. current level times 1000 add them all up to find total for that level. |
| #5The-Mage-KingJan 13, 2010 12:05:38 | So 3.5. Thanks! I really needed it for this... |
| #6TheRealOrionJan 13, 2010 14:46:31 | current level times 1000 That can't be right. Level 2 would be 1,000,000 (1000 x 1000). But yes, the XP value of levels is the same in both games. The XP rewards vs. threats might be different, given that d20M characters are a little weaker than D&D characters, on average. |
| #7shinobi_guyverJan 13, 2010 15:01:25 | current level times 1000 What's not right? Take your current character level, multiply that by 1000, and that's the amount you need to get to the next level. A level 2 character would need 2,000 xp to get to lvl 3 and a lvl 27 character would need 27,000 xp to get to lvl 28 (assuming you had epic levels in D20 Modern). |
| #8TheRealOrionJan 13, 2010 15:53:05 | Whoops. I read that wrong. Level x1000 is the distance between one level and the next. Got it. My fault. |
