Poll: Has anyone participated in an Alternate Reality Game?

For reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternate_reality_game

It seems to me that something like this is just like DMing D20 modern for very large groups of people over a long period of time. Now, I heard of a few of these and got in to one for a while that had an automated system that would send you emails and leave voicemails for you (you had to provide an email address and a phone number/ fax number) but I moved before the game was over and never found out anything.

Most of the big ones are corporate sponsored marketing campaigns, and both Fox and Warner bros. have used them for many movie releases. However there are also many small time ones going on as well as evidenced by the many fan wiki's keeping track of them.

If you have experience with them, are intrigued by the idea (as I am) or maybe would like to form a group to put one on, start the discussion here.
