calling all photoshop geniuses

Nov 13, 2007 1:33:12 i know alot of you guys are good with photoshop and what not, would it be asking too much for a pic? basically i have a player who's character is a decended from werewolves, i was thinking of a handout of a an old family photo stashed away in the attic somewere, basically a classy family photo of people in 1840's garb, but have one of the men look like a well dressed werewolf. i'm sure its not so easy to do, but if anyone is bored enuf to attempt it...

p.s. yes i also posted this on the D&D forum too, didnt mean too, but then people tend to read that more than the modern forum any.

Nov 14, 2007 11:39:56 What level of realism do you want? Can it be a cartoon style, or do you want it to look exactly like an old photo? If the latter, would it be a problem if we used an old photo and photoshopped it?

I can't actually make the pic. for you, as my photoshopping computer needs a new graphics card, but answering the above questions will help anyone who can help you.

Nov 14, 2007 14:32:07 i would prefer it to look realistic..and yes, using an old photo is fine, i assumed that is what soemone would have done anyway. i just ask that the werewolf looks more like a modern horror movie werewolf, and not like the Lon Chaney, Jr wolfman.

just to elaborate a bit, the players character is a young girl of scottish decent, who was recently kidnapped (plot hook) the other pc's attempted to get her back but were having a difficult time due to die rolls and such, well i decided to have her family drop in, so her father, uncle and grandpa come crashing thru the skylights all ****, grit, and teeth like and level the playing field, the father unties her, removes her blindfold and just says "go home" she reconized the voice.

so basically i want the father to have a serious father to daughter talk and in the process he'll bring out an old photo album and show her this perticular family pic of her great, great, grandfather who was technically the first lycanthrop in the family to move to the new country. so i was picturing an old family photo, just with one of the men in hybrid form (being the proud type he is, he'd prefer to be shown that way)
