In d20 Future Tech there's a robot feat called Memory Implant that requires you to take it at character generation, yet robots don't receive a feat at level 1 to take it with.  Is there any errata for this?

I've done searches through the forums looking for an answer, but all the thread links on it seem to redirect to the forums home page

They should have spelled it out clearly, but the idea here is that the feat has to be taken at character creation by their logic; to account for the fact that robots don't get feats at character creation, the feat also grants a free feat at character creation, which you have to use to buy the feat. It's a textbook case of circular logic, but it's just there so that you can take the feat at all.

Basically, it's a free Occupation for your robot character, if you want one.

new feat

Retroprecognition feat
Requires Savant Knowledge:Causality, PFP & AFP, Burstfire Feat
Taking the Retroprecognition feat grants an extra feat at character creation: Burstfire.  All prerequisites for the Burstfire feat at creation are met at the time Retroprecognition feat was chosen, including having the creation granted Burstfire feat count towards the requirements for Retroprecognition.
Normal: characters do not get a free Burstfire feat at character creation

GM: Ok, lets see all your characters before we star the campaign
Tim: Well, I have a 1st level Smart, he has a laptop & he uses burstire as his primary attack.
GM: Woah there.. you cant take Burst at 1st... you have none of the prereqs
Tim: I'm not taking it at 1st, later on at 12th I'm gonna take a feat that grants burst at creation
GM: But you dont have any prereqs for THAT feat either
Tim: But I will when I'm 12th

I'm been playing d&d for about a year, an the GM wants to make the second part of his world with d20 Future, and I want to make a Robot Heroe with this feat (and wetwere) to make him past as a human.

I don't know how to use it, but there's no reference anywere about this.

What I thinks this is like a free feat that has to be allowed by the GM. What I'm not sure is that the free feat that the description gives is use to pay this feat itself.

Has anyone use this feat before?
