A 9mm does the same damage as a .45, as a .357. I know there are only so many kinds of dice to roll but this radically changes the balance of guns and there has to be a way to adjust this to make it fit the real world better. |

Another reason is if you only pick a gun for the damage it does, then everyone would pick the same gun. So the main differences between say a 9mm, .45 and .357 is flavour, range and ammo capacity. |
| (Reply to #2)Bad-People | That's kind of my point, since 9mms almost always have higher ammo capacity they have all the advantages and there's no real reason to ever use the .45s or .357s |

Edit 7:00 am Found them and I Have two seperate ones so contact me and as they were free from the publisher I give them free to you |
| #7GraadrichMay 21, 2014 8:20:42 | use the call of cthulu d20 weapon damage stats. a 9mm does 1d10 while a .357 does 2d6. every ammo type does a differing amount of damage, the shotguns even have better spread rules and reducing damage based on range. |
| #8AnimeSniperMay 18, 2015 20:49:38 | Another houserule we recently beta'd in a campaign is rolling an equivalent dice, i.e. 3-rnd burst fire is 1d3, to see how many rounds hit the actual target and for full auto rolling the magazine capacity i.e. 3d10 for 30 round clip if the player held down the trigger |
