| #1yellowdingoJun 12, 2010 15:27:00 | I got totally annoyed at the Destiny Design in SGU (I hate where it is all decking like a Navy ship) so I decided to take the shape and make the Ship vertical decking rather than horizontal Decking.
Here are the first three Decks (I put the Stargate in the room closest to the front end of the ship):
LEVEL 01

LEVEL 02

LEVEL 03

1. The inacessible cavities at each side are infact perfect resonance wave guides for the energy of the ship. Energy can bounce around in there until the ship opens a small hole on the hull through which energy can be directed as a beam.
2. Water Storage (the green zone) on Deck 3 allows for a huge cavity that will occupy 4-6 decks as a water storage tank, likewise there will be further such storage tanks for other vital elements required by the ship on future levels.
3. The Gate Room is a big space with a balcony level looking down on it.
You may coment as we go. |

couple Q's: where is the "gate" in you gateroom? where is the gate support mechanisms under the "gate" location?

1. It is in the Area on Level 2. I just Left It out because It was easier - the gate I had looked weird from above. 2. The Support Mechinisms are 'in the floor' as it were. |

Long body with front-swept wings... it's not that unusual, really. Looks like a Klingon "Bird of Prey" to me and always has, but that's because that's the first long-body/front-swept-wings space ship that I really noticed as a wee sci-fi fan. It's all about what you're familiar with.
