d20 Superheroes (heroclix) miniature game?

If I would be Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast, I will get the lincence/copyright of superheroes (Marvel, DC, Image...) for a future d20 Spectaculars miniatures game. I´m sure d20 modern 2.0. is coming (it´s being developed by WotC). Why not a d20 miniature game with superheroes from Marvel, DC and Image?

But, please, nothing of random set.

It isn´t oficcial, but It was said here, in d20 Modern forum;

I've asked Solice about d20 Modern's future. Looking into it, she tells me there are plans for an updated d20 modern game BUT no ETA on when, or when there will be an announcement. The exact quote is "We do plan on updating the d20 rules and content, but we do not have a date at this time. Stay tuned!"

Because Heroclix is a barely struggling flop of a game that sees most of its sales in bargain bins than anything else. Otherwise, WizKids wouldn't have tanked.

But, please, nothing of random set.

That'll never happen, random boosters is how WotC makes money on their miniatures games.

Nov 20, 2008 11:46:24 I think there is a sector of fandom market that like colectable game of superheroes miniatures. The trouble is you don´t want buy random booster to have three captains America, two catwomen and four hellboy.

I was Hasbro/WotC I would negotiate with comic publishing houses for superheroes toys. But I don´t sell superheroes of only a unique univese, but I would negotiate a licence of d20 Marvel universe, and d20 DC. Comic houses would get more publicity for lesser known caracthers.
