I'll help. You'll just have to tell how to make an elder evil.

There was a short while ago a PS2 and Xbox game based around Cthulu, it might be interesting to stat out that particular version.

Heya guys, I have an idea for one.. not exactly as destructive as the atypical EE (elder evil), but I always would wonder what Metriod prime from the Metriod Prime serises would be like as an EE

Why not make a list of elder evils from every video game you have played?

ok...
Just because I'm a tad bored and I actually flipped through the Elder Evils book at Books a Million, I'll contribute some ideas. I don't have time to stat these f****er's up, but I'm sure anyone who actually feels like using these critters will.

Here we go: (Name) (source of video game) (extra info)

-JENOVA (Final Fantasy VII) - Just had to throw that name out there
-Last Guy from Half-Life 1 (Half-life) - sorry don't remember his name
-Mehrunes Dagon (Elder Scrolls 4:Oblivion)
-Guardian Of Hell (Doom 3)
-Sauron (Lord of the Rings) - before he lost the one ring
-Cthulhu (Xbox-Call of Cthulhu)
-Lavos (Chrono Trigger) - yes for the SNES, if you haven't played it you should
-Bowser (Mario) - just kidding :P
-Ganon (Zelda) - not ganondorf
-Sin (Final Fantasy 10)
---thats all i got, now for their signs

JENOVA
1st-asteroid strikes down
2nd-mako reacts and splices with JENOVA cells to create monsters
3rd-they (all who are infected) attempt to reform at the crash site

Half-Life Alien
1st-portals to an alien world open and vortigaunts flood in
2nd-bigger things flood in, and make combines

Mehrunes Dagon
1st-gates to Oblivion open up across a country or world
2nd-demons (or deadra) flood in
3rd-parts of Oblivion (or hell) start to actually merge with your world creating a semibalance between to the two
4th-Mehrunes Dagon awakens.

Guardian of Hell
1st-demons and undead appear across the world
2nd-parts of hell merge with said planet
3rd-a full gate to the 1st layer of hell actually open and you see/fight him

Sauron
1st-forged the one ring
2nd-unifying the other rings of power (gains nazgul)
3rd-raises the dark army in the shadow lands

Cthulhu
1st-cults rise
2nd-supernatural become apparent
3rd-Cthulhu rises and eats 1d4 adventures then attacks

Lavos
-there are no signs, he simply rises from the earth and reigns hell fire upon it

Bowzer
1st-Peach is missing
2nd-Kupas appear
3rd-nope, thats about it (maybe the galaxy is in danger or something) :P

Ganon
1st-attack on a place of ancestral power
2nd-all three triforces come together under dark wishes
3rd-there maybe a world of darkness

Sin
1st-someone dreams of Sin
2nd-Sin rises and...well...yeah (never actually played ffx so I dont know much of Sin)

Sin
Show
1st- A well known city is totally demolished, ruins and the bodies of the dead are all that is left. This happens again and again, particularly to more advanced cities, but small settlements are destroyed too.
2nd- Survivors find the cause to be a giant monster thing. Nothing can destroy it except for the methods of one cult, which raises to status of religion through the destruction of said monster.
3rd- The methods of the cult result in the creation of a new monster, which is also invulnerable to all methods but the method used to destroy the last monster. Thus the circle never ends...

If you stat things out, could you do Giygas from Earthbound as well?
He most certainly qualifies as Elder Evil.

What?! No Eternal Darkness?

Chattur'gha

The Ancient of Flesh, the Great Being of Matter. Chattur'gha appears as a massive, armored, worm-like crustacean with powerful claws and a scab-red hide. He is an unsubtle and unsophisticated entity who revels in combat and bloodshed, leaving introspection and planning to weaker beings. Chattur'gha's minions are characterized by their lack of skin, revealing their bloody, bulging muscles, and display a mindless ferocity and regenerative powers that keep them attacking long after other menaces would have fallen. In relation to the rival Ancients, Chattur'gha's unthinking violence is unaffected by Xel'lotath's lunacy, but often falls prey to the magickal power of Ulyaoth. His associated color is blood red, and his symbol is a pincer-like claw.

Ulyaoth

The Ancient of Magick, the Master of Planes. Ulyaoth's abstract form resembles a crystalline, semi-transparent jellyfish, and many of his servants have similar ethereal, tendriled forms. Ulyaoth observes the universe with a calm and alien detachment, viewing its inhabitants as creatures barely worthy of his attention while plotting their demise ("The universe is a yawning chasm, filled with emptiness and the puerile meanderings of sentience"). Like his minions, Ulyaoth is physically weak but possesses an incredible mastery of eldritch power, which combined with his brilliant schemes allows him to easily overcome Chattur'gha's rages. However, the maddening whispers of Xel'lotath tend to make his plans fall apart and his powers falter. The color associated with Ulyaoth is a ghostly blue, and his symbol is a dome-like creature with hooked claws trailing beneath it.

Xel'lotath

The Ancient of Madness, the Angel of Insanity. Xel'lotath's physical form reflects her mental decay: she has a long, serpentine body with feminine curves, and a single huge green eye, surrounded by four humanoid arms--in short, a kind of monstrous, headless mermaid. Xel'lotath's knowledge of the universe surpasses even Ulyaoth's, but that knowledge has come at the price of her own sanity, leaving her a paranoid, suspicious entity with unpredictable behavior stemming from her shattered mind. Just to look upon her minions is to risk madness--they often appear to be missing limbs or heads, instead sporting replacements made up of a vivid green ghost-matter, and sometimes seem to have been created from multiple creatures fused together. Xel'lotath's mental corrosion is particularly effective against Ulyaoth and his followers, but the brutish Chattur'gha is able to batter through her maddening influence with his mindless violence. The color associated with Xel'lotath is an insipid green, and her symbol is an abstract, impossible angel.

Mantorok

The Ancient of Order and Chaos, the Corpse God. Appearing as a colossal, amorphous mass of eyes and toothy maws, Mantorok may be the only Ancient with a remotely benevolent view towards mortal races--it has been known to act as a fertility god for some primitive villagers, although its gifts came at the cost of human sacrifices. Unlike the other Ancients, Mantorok has been bound to the Material Plane by rival cultists: its great bulk lies deep underneath a long-abandoned temple, slowly rotting away as the eons pass, impaled by enchanted pillars to its tomb. As a result, Mantorok's minions have all but withered, leaving only a few desiccated, zombie-like creatures lurking in the dark places of the world. Despite its imprisonment, Mantorok is the most powerful Ancient, as it corrodes and weakens the others' power while subtly playing them against each other--in the great circular battle between the other three Ancients, Mantorok lies in the center, at once the others' prisoner and warden. Mantorok's powers transcend space, time, and dimensions, and its undetected meddling in mortal affairs often forges great heroes to help combat the other Ancients (though such champions rarely survive their ordeals unscathed, if they survive at all). The color associated with Mantorok is a dark purple that glows with black energy. Its symbol has been lost to antiquity.

Oh man i just came down with a homicidal urge to eat human flesh. Must be the signs of Chattarugah. Eternal Darkness is the highwater mark for insanity and evil. More of an Ulyaoth fan really.
IMC i used a 'lazarus pit' ala batman to heal the heroes (no clerics) between adventures but as an ''Ulyaoth pit'' every time they used it they became more and more... tainted.
