Mar 18, 2008 21:01:15 I believe this would be the right place to ask this question. Has there ever been an Escape from New York RPG?

Mar 24, 2008 11:36:00 No. It's really too limited to be much more than an adventure in a dystopian-future RPG.

TSR published a boardgame based on the movie in 1981. It was surprisingly fun -- much better than the usual licensed movie-theme game.

Thank you! I was not aware of the board game. I will have to keep an eye out for it. Thanks!

Mar 31, 2008 22:27:39 There was also a series of comic books published based on "Escape from New York". Basically it was about Snake Plissken's adventures in other cities in America. Very similar to the game "Car Wars" in themes.
