God... its driving me insane here, I cant remember where I saw it before but there is a feat somewhere that lets you add your dex modifier to melee damage instead of/in addition to your str modifier.

Could anyone please help me track down where I saw this at/ what its called.... If anyone can it would be very much appreciated.

lets you add your dex modifier to melee damage instead of/in addition to your str modifier.

Weapon Finesse [General]
Prerequisite
Base attack bonus +1.

Benefit
With a light weapon, rapier, whip, or spiked chain made for a creature of your size category, you may use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on attack rolls. If you carry a shield, its armor check penalty applies to your attack rolls.

Special
A fighter may select Weapon Finesse as one of his fighter bonus feats.

Natural weapons are always considered light weapons.

Sorry but thats not what I'm looking for.... Weapon Finesse lets you substitute your dex in for your ATTACK. The feat I'm looking for expands upon that and adds your dex to DAMAGE for melee.
My character is an unarmed fighter that uses weapon finesse already because of his high dex, and I wanted to up the damage output with this feat. Thx for the input though. Anyone else have an inkling of which feat I'm talking about?

Found a similar thread on another board:

Champion of Corellon Larethian, which has some stringent requirements, lets you add Dex to damage with certain elfy weapons, but it's precision damage (i.e. doesn't work on anything sneak attack doesn't work on).

The newer way is the Shadow Blade feat from Tome of Battle. It grants DEX to damage while in a Shadow Hand stance and wielding a Shadow Hand discipline favored weapon; getting it without taking Swordsage levels requires Martial Study and Martial Stance feats, so that's a three-feat investment. Dipping Swordsage is probably a better idea.

Nevermind I found the feat while randomly flipping through the AEG Feats book on Sunday.

Superior Finesse
Prerequisites: Dex 13, Int 13, Expertise, Weapon Finesse

Benefit: You may substitute your dex modifier in place of your str modifier for melee damage.
