I am back from my long absence to give you my first true signs of life, a race anyone may want to use plus things I have put behind them. The Zylos A species of humanoid insects, standing at the hieght of 6' when hunched over, if ever erect, standing a massive 8' tall. The Zylos have a smooth carapace formed from crystalized chitin formed from millions of years of evolution upon irradiated worlds that they colonized through destruction of all sentient life upon those planets, and cultivation of all other life forms. The Zylos are a xenophobic race of conquerers, challenging the abberent lords of dark technology, the ithillids, they adapted large fonts of pyschic resonance. The paring of this new found mental force and the thermal-plasmid energy that they base all their technology from, they successfully destroyed three ithillid fleets in a single solar week, (the equivilent of five days earth time.) Despite this setback, the ithillid empire contructed new warmachines, using pysch-krysteel, an adaptive metal that destroys pyshic assaults, the ithillid countered the Zylos armies, devastating millions of colonies. The Zylos after resolving their conflict, rebuilt and soon wandered their fleets of bio-thermal asteroid fortresses into terran space. The humans reacted with violence, the Zylos responded in kind, losses were quick and brutal from the out terran colonies. Most battles were decided in humanity's favour during rigorous subspace fire fights, human aircraft had a massive advantage over the cumbersome cruisers the Zylos utilized to spearhead assaults. On the ground though, humanity had to deploy armor and increase the number of exo-suit based infentry to compete with the agile and strong Zylos warriors. Zylos carapace was durable on its own, allowing them to operate in subspace enviroments, so when stimulated by bio-sheath covers, a filament armor that was grown over the Zylos soldiers in about five minutes before they were deployed allowed a unit of Zylos infentry to effectivly disable a terran unit of exo-suits in about 20 seconds in melee combat and about three minutes at ranged firefights. The largest advantage over humanity though was their advanced pyschic resonance, most Zylos could project a bolt of forceful eldritch power from their hands every hour, this bolt would send a normal flak jacket wearing soldier around 100ft through the air. Humanity had no other choice, nuclear-plasma based cannons were contructed, utilizing nukes and other massive bombs, their radiation was fired at Zylos ships, the biological technology of the Zylos warships was horrendously scared. The crippled fleets were slow and nearly defenseless, humanity won. Peace was found, the other alien races that found peace with humanity agreed to ally the insectoids, the Zylos still hold deep onto their xenophobic lifestyle though, but their skills are invalueable in the battle that will come when the ithillids come back for another conquest.
