Fraal update P.E.A.C.H.

This is an idea inspired by the Doctor Who episode, " The Brain of Morbius ". For a Gallifreyan psionic ability but it could easily be used for any telephathic race. I intend to upgrade some Fraal in a Darkmatter campaign and any guidance, inspiration / direction would be greatly appreciated.

Mindbending is a natural Gallifreyan psychic wrestling ability. A battle of intellects in a mental chess game, that can end in death or insanity.

Once a link has been forged between the minds of the combatants, say by " lesser mindlink " for example. The mindbending can start :-

Timelord v.s Timelord :Combatants must make an opposed save. (each using 10 plus their int.,wis.,and chr. bonus if positive.) The winner inflicts 2d3 points of temporary damage to int.,wis., and chr.,respectively. This contest continues every round until one Timelord has only +2 or lower in int., wis., and chr.. At this point he/she falls unconscious. If all abilitys fall bellow zero a fort. save v.s a DC. of 15 to escape death is made. Success indicates the Timelord has survived but is now insane.

Timelord v.s Non-timelord : The Non-timelord must make a will save v.s 10 plus the Timelords int., wis., and chr., bonus if positive. Failure results in the hit points of the victim being lowered to -1 and a slide into death. Success means contact is broken and both sides are stunned for 1d6 rounds.

FX Item : Mindbending Scaffold.

This arcane Gallifreyan device allows others to see a visual disply of the pychic tussle. Fail safes keep the combatants from death locks and insanity. It also allows Non-timelords to battle as if they were Time lords them selfs.
Type: Wondrous Item (psionic); Manifster level 10th. ; Purchase DC. 35 ; weight 30LBS.

When figuring the opposing save, are you adding the modifiers together or taking the highest?

You say "has only +2 or lower in int., wis., and cha.," is that supposed to be a lower than +2 modifier or the actual ability score? Also, is that a score of 2 in just one score or in all 3? A bad roll of the dice could result in one score being negative before the others get lowered.
