| #1axelfrost_dupDec 30, 2008 21:29:20 | Alright so... In a new Urban arcana game that I am going to start playing in I am playing a Gun Dealer. Now the GM has asked me to inventory my stores in the basement of my parties house. He gave 500,000 dollars and I dont know how many guns that makes up. Any Suggestions? |

| #4akodoJan 03, 2009 20:05:18 | the counterstrike method has it's merits, but the main drawback is the values given are really based on gun function in the game. They have $1000 handguns being valued at 500 'fakemoney' because it is value 500 to the gamer in play. They have $500 AKs being valued at 2500 fakemoney because gamewise it is 5 times as good. of course, as both the target number given by your GM and the numbers given in counterstrike are 'pulled out of thin air' they tend to cancel eachother out. I guess it depends on what kind of gundealer you are. if your character deals in the grey to black market he probably has 20 snubnose revolvers, 20 .25acp or 22LR small semiautos, 10 9mm semiautos, 5 45acp semiautos, 5 40sw semiautos, 5 357 magnum revolvers, 2 44 magnum revolvers, 2 12 gauge sawed off shotguns, 2 mac-10s illegally converted to full auto. Ammunition stocks = not much, maybe 100 38 special, 200 9mm, 100 45s 100 40s, 25 shotgun shells. If your character is a small time gunstore, I'd say Handguns: 10 target type 22LR pistols, 5 snub nose revolvers, 20 9mm semiautos, 10 40SW semiautos, 10 45acp semiautos, 10 357 magnum revolvers, 5 44 magnum revolvers. Rifles: 30 Deer Rifles, 10 AR-15s, 5 AK-47s, 5 SKSs, 1 each more exotic assault rifles. Shotguns: 20 basic hunting shotguns, 10 'tactical' shotguns. LARGE stores of ammunitions. Crates of it. If you are a military hardware dealer sell to mercs, 2 bit paramilitaries, revolutionaries, etc. i'd say you'd have your guns all crated up not ready to go beyond a few weapons for personal defense but...20 M-16s, 60 AK-47s, 20 9mm semiauto handguns, 20 uzis, 5 MP5s, 200 WW2 rifles (your choice), 100 grenades. large stocks of ammunition as well. |

| #6AnimeSniperJan 04, 2009 17:53:39 | If we knock 3PDC off a price for gently used, And don't forget the bulk ammunition deals; What would you add the cost of ammunition listed in teh book/SRD for 500 rounds +PDC or would you multipl7 the PDC by the number multipier; 20 * 100= 2000 rounds so 5*100=500 with a slight discount in cost making the total say 450PDC |
