Hi there i'm now ! any way what i'm trying to do is is take the Saga skills (after i figure out how to edit certain things around) and move them onto a sheet that works for Modern/future. the reason being that i plan to replace Modern/Future's skill system with Sagas - as Sagas is easier to deal with in my mind......but i'd laike to actually have them all on a character sheet rather then haveing it all be on a seperate pice of paper, is there any program i could use to make a new sheet for this includeing a Saga style skills chart/table thing?

Depending on how pretty you want it to be, you can easily build a sheet in a spreadsheet, like Calc or Excel. The added bonus is that you can get a spreadsheet to do most of the math for you, if you know the commands. If you're really good with those programmes, you can even make it pretty.

Did you want to take an existing PDF of the official d20M character sheet and alter it to taste? If so, that's a bit more of a complex operation, but it can be done in PDF Writer, from Adobe. I don't know how, but someone created one for Phoenix, back in the day.

was hopeing i could preserve the look of either the Saga sheet or the Future sheet while still haveing the skills * and more then likely now adapting defenses * honestly at this point i'm considering haveing the players of this eventual compaign just use the Saga sheets.

are your players making (rolling up) their characters long hand (not using char-gen)?

can you edit images?  image the Saga cs pdf ... image the d20Mod cs pdf ... cut-n-paste between images.

can you use excell?  I could send you two files (saga & d20Mod) ... you then could mix-n-match.

or if you like I could do the mix-n-match, then send you a pdf to print and use.

heh would be nice if some one else could do it......not that i'm lazy but that i'm swamped with trying to plan out a saga campign so my friends dont stab me.

but yea the Saga Skills (with use the force turned into another of those blank 'replace with your own skill' boxes) and Sag Defense boxes/rules.

You have already done searches for "Star Wars Saga" and "d20 modern" + "character sheets" right? If you find a couple of spreadsheets that you like, you can more or less just cut/paste boxes from one into the another.

I'd love to see an altar dedicated to a character sheet.

so, on a scale 1 to 5 ... how is the kitbash character sheet meeting your needs?

1 being  "it ain't"   and   5 being "using it now"

About a 3 - i'd like if you replaced saveing throws with defenses - since you just have a flat defense in saga rather then a saveing throw - which feels better to me honestly heh.

and thank you !

So Rustam1, any thoughts on a combination D&D/D20 sheet as I am trying to compile the differing sheets together lately...

I needed to create a new character sheet for a GSL addition to D&D (Neurospasta, it seems to be filling my need for a 4e modern and a 4e cyberpunk). I found a 4e D&D character sheet in excel format, and did some work to it to make it fit the rules. I'm pretty sure there were 3e excel character sheets available as well. If the sheet is set up right in the beginning it can be relatively easy to work with (certainly better than starting from scratch) and you can have half the stuff (like skills and ability mods) taken care of automatically with calculation cells. And while I'm not sure if this will matter to you since you seem more interested in saga than 4e, but I even used conditional formatting to easily color code powers the same way they are in the core books.

EDIT: For an example of what I mean, here's the sheet www.4shared.com/file/165803522/73dc7eb5/...

Great Char sheet.  I also opted for the B&W version you made, but this sheet is a wonderful piece of work.  Thanks for taking the time and effort to construct it.  Anyone who wants to run a SWSE influenced Modern campaign should definitely consider using this as the standard for character sheets.
