| #1custom_gamerMar 16, 2008 17:14:53 | This is a little adventure I whipped up to be the beginning to or a mission in a spy based game set in Our world. Though it could be tweaked alittle to fit in any game or world. The President on the High Seas Adventure Synopsis He spies are sent on a three month vacation cruise in the Caribbean. All is well until they don’t reach port on time. In fact they never reach a port, and the captain keeps making excuses. No one worries until people start turning up dead in rooms and around the ship. Nothing is shut down due to the low morale of the passengers. The Spies must negate their vacation and find out what is happening on board. What they know The spies know where each body is found. They have access to the ships manifest but are not granted access to any info, or the rooms where bodies where found. Bodies in the open have a note written in blood near the body reading (In Latin script): Nos Es Ingrisso Novus Ordinatio, Ego Adduco Ruina Vetus Ordinatio, Insisto Mihi Ad Silentium! L.M.M. Translation We are the beginning to a New Rule, I lead the downfall of the Old Rule, Follow me to Paradise (Actually Prefection but there is no latin word for paradise) L.M.M. stands for Libertas Miles Militis which means Freedom Soldiers What they don’t know The spies don’t know what or who is doing this. The people killed are all secret servicemen. The president is on board in disguise. He does not want attention brought to him so he goes on as a tourist and refuses to be airlifted away. The ship was hijacked three days in to the trip and given a new course. Free Radicals have hijacked the ship and want to get the president to their land. The ship is going to Brazil where the president will be captured. The real crew is in the boiler room. The hijackers have a bomb on board in case they are compromised. What they need to find out Who is killing the passengers. What happened to the crew. Where the crew is. What the hijackers want. How to stop them. How to do it Undercover searching Internet investigation Interviewing crew/passengers Crime Scene Investigation What they have Clothing Common Gadgets Computers Passengers The Ship What they don’t have Weapons (unless they get them from the hijackers) Crime Lab In depth research materials Hi-tech gadgets Timeline Day One-Three- Normal cruise Day Seven-No arrival at first destination/ First dead body Next two weeks-several dead bodies found each day, no visible connection/Investigation time Next week-Something is definitely wrong/people confined to rooms Next week Day Thirty Five- Arrival at Brazil if spies don’t solve mystery. Things to remember The spies should never reveal who they really are If crew is found and begin to return to ship hijackers will leave in life boats Should the spies be found out the hijackers will leave and blow up ship Once a week the spies are able to contact their leaders If the spies fail to solve the mystery they will have to deal with the hijackers later on. Next Adventure Success Finding the center of the hijackers group Failure (ship made it to Brazil) Protecting the new president Finding the old president Finding the hijackers base Failure (Ship exploded and they survive) Without aid from their leaders they should get to land and begin a new mission still without aid This is purely a spying mission if there is any fighting something has gone terribly wrong. |

Seriously, you should try to loosen up the restrictions in this scenario or nobody will have fun, except maybe the power-mad GM. |

Fortunately they (the users of said system) believe in the heavy handedness of their game, so it won't be too hard to transition to if this is what you want. YMMV, Doug |
