The SRD contains all of the Open Game Content you are allowed to use (for free) when publishing your own material, and is almost exactly the same as the core rulebook. Only some of the material from the core book was left out. And as long as you only use Open Content (the stuff in the modern SRD), and include a copy of the Open Gaming License with proper references of where you got any open content material you didn't make up yourself, you can do (almost) whatever you want with it. |
