| #1necroticbananaMar 23, 2008 0:08:01 | Hey everybody, was just watching some old movies and came across one of mine (and yours) absolute favorites; Gremlins! so i decided to stat them up for use in my own game...cause i never liked the standard gremlins in the book anyway. Now keep in mind this is a seriously rushed stat up. And this is only for the fuzzy version. havnt gotten to figuring out the actual "gremlins" yet BTW- this is neat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mogwai Mogwai CR: 1/4th (?) Size: Tiny Type: Magical Beast HD: 1/4th (5hp) MAS: 10 Init: +3 SPD: 10' Def: 14 BAB: +1 Grap: -12 Full Atk: -3 (bite 1d3-3) FS: 2'-2' Reach: 0' SQ: Low light vision, Weaknesses, Transformation AL: Chaos, Evil SV: Fort +2/Ref. +2/Will +0 AP: 5 REP: 0 Abilities: STR: 3, DEX: 15, CON: 12, INT: 12, WIS: 10, CHA 13 Skills: (Not sure yet, thinking just the basics; spot, listen move silent, disable device. i think they have 24 points to spend.) Feats: (No clue here i belive i have two feats to burn, nothing seemed to fit.) Advancement: By class. Weakness: Water: If at anytime a Mogwai becomes wet with water, or a water based liquid, it will immediatly spawn 1d4+1 Mogwai. Usually a Mogwai (only one per litter) is born a "mohawk" these critters are easily identified by there distinctive stripe of white mane atop there heads. These Mogwai tend to be even more cunning and mean-spirited than the rest. (maybe give it a higher intelligence). Sunlight: mogwai exposed to even a sliver of natural sunlight will immediatly suffer 3d6 fire damge and be reduced to a pile of goo. Transformation: Any Mogwai who has digested food after midnight (in the relevent time zone in wich they currently inhabit) create a cacoon and will immerge as a "Gremlin" within 1d6+2 hours. |

Simple Weapons Proficiency should be a given feat. Also, if sunlight is guaranteed to kill a gremlin/mogwai, there seems to be no need to specify how much damage it takes. Just say that sunlight immediately kills a mogwai with no save given. Otherwise, mogwai might be able to raise their hit die beyond the pointthat 3d6 fire damage is enough for a one-hit kill. Unless you want to allow that... |

As for the sunlight damage, i feel that it probably should just kill em no save. not really sure why i even put the damage on there, it was late, i was tired..checks in the mail..i was the 2nd man on the grassy gnoll.. whatever. |

| #5necroticbananaMar 24, 2008 22:47:25 | class levels duh....or assume there still non-proficiencent and them never acctually hitting is a reflection of there-4 to hit...remeber just because they pick it up and shoot it..does not mean they now how to do it properly.. P.S. that goes to all you silly geeks who stat yerselves up with personal firearms proficency cause you got to shoot a shotgun or a paintball gun a few times. lol |

| #7necroticbananaMar 24, 2008 23:52:28 | are you refering to the scene were "mohawk" gets ahold of Dr. Cathider's weapon stash? i belive the only other scene was when "brain" shot the other gremlin during the interview, if that were the case..i'd rule it was just pretty much a point blank, can't miss shot |
