Mordern Bard?

Jun 05, 2009 18:48:57 I have this character thats a singer/psychic illusionist, ive taken a green ronin psychic with skills/feats/talents and improvised him into my Repo! game, but i decided since "Repo!" is a opera(musical), then i was going to keep that element to some degree with him.

I was just wondering if anyone had a modern bard for a future/apocalypse setting, or might be able to help me convert the D&D bard?

My world is in ruin, scavanging is a must to survive, raiders, robots, and mutaitions roam freely killing....no law and order...i need a bard that fits that.

suggestions?

Jun 07, 2009 12:43:18 There was actually a disk jockey bard class on this board at one time. You may want to try searching for that. *shrugs*

Jun 10, 2009 23:49:20 You want a bard huh...the most realistic bard would be something like...Charismatic class? Maybe take Celebrity advanced class once you gain some fame? I'm just looking at the Core Rulebook for d20 Modern.

Jun 13, 2009 6:02:59 I concur Walrus, charismatic hero + personality or some other form of class with the right abilities would make a good bard.

Plus you have mutations and psychics right? So if you want them to have "spells" as it were, the character could take a level or to in a psychic FX class.
