Has anyone invented a Photosensitivity mutation? Please note I am not refering to lack of skin pigmintation (aka Albinos).

Do you mean Light Sensitivity....
Light Sensitivity [Drawback]
Your eyes cannot adjust to bright light
MP Value: 1
Drawbacks: Abrupt exposure to bright light (such as sunlight) blinds you for 1 round. On subsequent rounds, you take a -1 penalty on attack roles, Search checks, and Spot checks as long as you remain in the affected area.
...Or Ultraviolet Allergy?
Ultraviolet Allergy [Drawback]
Ultraviolet light burns your flesh and causes it to ignite.
MP Value: 3
Drawback: Ultraviolet light (including direct sunlight) burns you for 2d6 points of fire damage per round and causes any light, flammable clothing you are wearing to ignite (see the d20 Modern Roleplaying Game, page 213, for rules about catching on fire).
Both of which are found in the d20 Future rulebook in Chapter 12: Mutations.

D20 Future Players Companion has one. The book is in my car and I can't get it right now, so I can't tell you what it does exactly.

Neither. I'm talking about a mutation that faituges or exhausts or causes nonlethal damage to you when in direct sunlight.

Ah... my mistake. Those were the first two I thought of.

I'm curious as to which one (with page number) because I just checked all three copies I have of "Future Player's Companion" (Tomorrow's Hero, Tomorrow's Foundation, & Tomorrow's Evolution) by The Game Mechanics and didn't see it listed in any of them.

Photosensitivity

ahhh, So we are NOT talking about the extra sensory perception
that allows the char to know when they are on camera (still,vid,IR-equip,gunsights,etc)

I guess the "Photosensitivity" clairvoyance that allows a char to know something extra about a picture they look at is out of the question then Wink

Ultraviolet Allergy [Drawback]
Ultraviolet light burns your flesh and causes it to ignite.
MP Value: 3

This is a GM nightmare- how does the GM quantify the amount of UV exposure to apply this to lamps/flashights/muzzleflash etc. At any point that the character can SEE ANYTHING, how do we adjucate how much that visible band includes UV along with the visible spectrum... "Moonlight" is NOT a different light than sunlight, it IS sunlight-
If we just handwave that enought moonlight to see with restriction (opposed to Can't See Anything) is "10%" of standard sunlight, then wouldnt the char with UV Allergy be taking 10% of the round by round damage?

When firing 3 abreast with plas/fusion/etc guns,
every time the center guy fires the normal guy on the right is fine
while the UV Allergy guy on the left takes a d4 damage from exposure to UV from the muzzleflash?

I'm talking about a mutation that faituges or exhausts or causes nonlethal damage to you when in direct sunlight.

And what happens to him when he is shot with a Las/plas/fusion/etc gun?
The movie Robocop (1/2/3?) already addressed this mutation base concern:
SPF 2000 sunblock for when the ozone is gone.

Nothing. The mutation would just cause faituge if the character was exposed to sunlight for to long and eventually faituge would turn into exhaustion and then exhaustion would turn into nonlethal damage (etc etc). Since I'm guessing this mutation doesn't exist can anyone make it up (including the number of MP it grants)?

"exposed to sunlight for to long"

Could you define the source of this stuff you call 'sunlight'?
Would you by chance be referring to long distance exposure to a Fisiofusion cyclic reactor,
a big one,
out in space,
that the Earth orbits?

Now that we know the actual thing that affects the guy,
and the guy is SOOOO sensitive to it that he is affected even at a distance of millions and millions of miles away,
wouldnt that guy be EXTREMELY sensitive to one of them emitting reaction taking place across the room from him, one that focuses those emissions to a point that even 'non-sensitive' guys might get killed by it?

Consider a guy that could die from a peanut allergy, with just a few miligram exposure,
but is shot buy a PeanutGun that can kill normal folks... wouldnt he be more harmed due to his sensitivity to the subject of the weapon.

I'm just sayin any guy that is sensitive to a fusion reaction going on a gajillion miles away
would be more affected than nonsensitive guys
to a fusion reaction going on a couple yards away from him, and focused at him, by an energy weapon using fusion/fusion-type-junk

I know what your saying. I'm saying I would like it if someone could make a mutation based on the photosensitivity genetic defect that some humans have in real life (again, I'm not talking about not having skin pigmintation [I'm talking about experiencing faituge/exhaustion/nonlethal damage/and finally lethal damage from exposure to direct light from the sun). My campaign does not have fusion guns or anything like that so you'll have to understand if I decline to want rules for photosensitivity via light based weapon. So, can anyone help me create this mutation?

Since there is no great influx of help pouring in,
I'll give it another go:

Again, even without considering the implications of 100% "Direct Sunlight" effect compared to environments that are <100% "Direct Sunlight" (4pm in a thunderstorm, 10am on overcast day etc)
... we still have to recognize that two of these sensitive guys standing in nominal Direct Sunlight will be affected differently cause one is in Ninja Pajamas while the other is prancing around in just his Tighty Whiteys.

Let me toss a model of the parameters out, and we can kick the tires on it:

Environ Base: FortDC 10-20, Thunderstorm DC12, Citypark DC16, MojaveJuly DC20 etc
Protection: .5x - 2x Check time, .5x Bikini, 1x Casual Clothes, 2x desert clothed
Bonuses like SPF30 Sunblock and eyewear for additional time between checks

Each period of exposure the char has to roll a Fort Save,
with the DC set by the Environ Base DC,
and the period being 1 Hour modified by Protection and Bonuses.
As with other environmental exposure effects, each preceding check adds +1DC to the save difficulty.

Effect: Each failed check incurs a cumulative -1 on ALL d20 ROLLS until the char is out of the exposure for 1hr per failed check.

In the d20 Apocalypse game I wanted to turn my person into a reptile. So I talked to my DM about something like this. We decided it would be something like Neutrad Dependancy. Only we made it so I have to be in the sun for 1 hr or else I lose a bunch of abilities, plus the actual description of the above mentioned drawback. So you could have it be something like that but if they were exposed to it for more than X amount of hours then they take the damage plus have the effects of fatigue. Just an idea
