Thanks for the suggestion though, I probably should have mentioned the limitation on 3rd party books from the start. I was thinking of asking if he would let me take the Psicrystal Affinity feat as a bonus feat but it appears my Psicrystal would cap out at 10th level which is... undesirable. Is it simply the levels in the Psionic class that determine the Psicrystal abilties or is it manifestor levels? I can boost manifestor levels easily and that would make the Psicrystal much more attractive. |

You are able to put more power points into a power crystal, but at a cost. Prerequisite: Wild Talent, Power Crystal class ability. Benefit: You may empower a crystal with 5 + manifester level + Int modifier, however you suffer 2 points of Constitution damage as long as the power crystal is charged. When these power points are used, the Constitution damage can be healed normally. That's just off the top of my head. Modify as you wish. So, for instance, if the character was a lvl 3 fast and lvl 4 telepath with a +2 Int modifier, the character can charge the power crystal for 5+4+2=11 power points in total. Sure, may not seem like much, but that extra 11 points can come in handy at some point. But the character will suffer 2 points of Constitution damage, which lowers Fort save and Consentration by -1. Could also lower the character's HP if the crystal is charged and not used for an extended period of time. Do note that the crystal does not have to be supercharged all the time, could be a once in awhile sort of thing, to avoid the Con damage. Again, this was just off the top of my head as an example of what could be done. |

I doubt there will be a plethroa of large gemstones floating around after the apocalypse to make a new one with. Are there any Telepath powers to stay away from or must have powers, Lesser Body Adjustment and Inertial Armor both seem too good to pass up? |
| #9AnimeSniperMay 03, 2013 5:53:13 | You could ask if the DM/GM if you could find/discover a new form of crystal that has otherworldly origins, i.e. other planes, alien power source, or outer space meteor/asteroid remains... that is of course depending on the campaign backstory Rage Video Game- Feltrite was part of the massive asteroid rage.wikia.com/wiki/99942_Apophis that crashed into earth Code Geass Anime/Manga- Sakuradite, a pinkish crystal that has massive superconductive properties Command & Conquer Video Game- Tiberium Crystal Ore, rapid growth, explosive and other properties Maybe a Create Crystal/Gemstone Feat or skill that you could happen across kinda like how artificial diamonds are made I think |
