Questions regarding Blood & Guts: Military Training Manual

Apr 02, 2008 14:27:21 Firstly, Is Blood and Guts and official d20 product?

Second, how the hell do the classes work? As far I can tell, When taking a class, such as Recon Training, your Advanced Training is dependent upon your MOS, but as near as I can tell, you can select your MOS only by taking the feat, and the list for that is also determined by your MOS.

How do you determine MOS?

Finally, is this material balanced to be used in d20 modern without using these classes?

By choosing a MOS from the list and taking the corresponding feat?

Yes, it is fully compatible with other d20 products (we have d20 Modern, Future, Apocalypse, WL and Ultramodern Firearms). But no, it's not a Wizards product.

MOS stands for Military Occupational Specialty.

MOS 63B = Light Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic
MOS 12B = Combat Engineer
MOS 11B = Grunt

Everything has a number, we dont say "I'm a chaplains assistant",
we break a beerbottle on the bar & shout
"BackOff Sucker, I'm a 56M and army qualified Expert with Bottle"

The MOSs work like feats, you take them as feats and you get all the listed benefits.

No offense, but its pretty clear in the book...

I think you're thinking of the Special Forces Advanced class from the Special Forces Expansion.
