| #1tibsApr 29, 2011 16:49:08 | Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere, but none of my searches has turned up anything, and I can't find it in the book... Anyway, I'm running a game tonight who's setting is based heavily around the Old SatAM sonic series (in a nutshell: pre-industrial society conquered by evil robot overlord and his futuristic technology, transformin citizens into robot slaves; only ones to stand against BBEG is small group of Freedom Fighters hidden in the woods). Part of the game is going to involve raiding for supplies/equipment, and I was wondering if there is a random table that I could roll on, similar to the DMG's random treasure table. I'm looking for something that can cover computer parts, medical supplies, maybe food, tools, all that jazz you'd expect to find in a futuristic, evil robot city. Did D20 Modern have a version of that table? I couldn't find one in my book; maybe I'm just missing it? Or will I just have to cobble something together from the various tables in the book? Any help/advice would be appreciated. |

Just a few ideas that you can work with or expand from. Good luck! |

| #5AnimeSniperApr 29, 2011 23:42:38 | No problem at all cause after all someone out there, a GM or a fellow gamer is attempting or has worked out a way of doing or fixing what is so stressful about the parts of the system that seem or are broken... I came up with after I posted the simple idea of 'Looting the Dead' meaning that whatever you gave your NPC muscle/enemies becomes the property of the PC's and of course this also applies to that unfortunate PC member who got 86'd and his gear becomes his compatriots gear. This always works for our group when we looted the bodies of some 30+ kobolds with bugbear masters I thinks it was You could have you party come across some damaged data file that leads them to a cache of pre-fall equipment and gear... just enough to give the an edge in future battles. |
