Jul 17, 2009 13:28:21 I've been mulling over this idea about redoing the pisonics system

I propose making the psionic system like force powers in Star wars Saga Edition..meaning that one skill roll would allow for a varity of usages,while the different powers of PSI would be devided up into different catagories with a different DC depending on what you owuld want to do with the power.

What do you all think?

Jul 20, 2009 22:03:42 Well sketch out the idea. What would the skill be? Would there be just one? What would be the divisions of psionic powers? How would you put limits on the power level of the effects? Toss something out there and let's work with it.

The effects would be divided up among DCs the more power the higher the DC

I don't even know where to begin with dividing the powers

EDIT: Unless you divided it amongest what it effects, like bobdy,mind,etc...

Jul 22, 2009 14:32:53 Hi, I´m new around here, but have been working on psionics for quite a long time, unfortunatly (for you) in portuguese.

My system is basicaly the same as Force rules of Star Wars Revised Edition (few skills and many feats).

I use as skills Psicokinesis, Teleport, Clariscience, Metacreativity, Telepaty and Biokinesis, but with nice names, like Sence for Clarisc. My translation would not be usefull because it is ambiguous eaven in portuguese...

which one of them have a minimal use with out any feat. For exemple Biokinesis can give you +2 on fortitude, or Clariscience can make you increase you sences. But with one or more Psionic Feats you can lift stuff, teleport, or mind control a person.

It is not perfect... but for me its bether them psionica spells...
