| #1-zombie-x-Jun 05, 2009 4:48:07 | Im working on a game thats highly based on 3 things... Repo! The Genetic Opera Fallout 3 Left 4 Dead or 28Days/Weeks Later I was hoping someone out there might guide me with how to direct the use of medications and addictions, as well as perhaps a viable counter for Radiation. Basically, im lookin for something d20 based for radiation variables to go with, ive read whats in D20 Apocolypse, and ive decided to use mutations in some rare cases. There will also be the medications from Fallout available, such as Rad-X and Jet....already got stimpacks, but, ill gladly take advice on the idea of equality to healing potions in modern. Not only that, but, Surgery will be openly available, as well as organ transplants...due to the severe orgain failure epidemic. Along with Skin graphs, cybernetics, and splicing. ALONG with radiation, i need to ask for advice to handle drug addiction. And lastly, how would one use a pain killer in d20? Zydrate is a drug that kills pains of all kind....in the world of "Repo!" humans need to have surgeries almost weekly to survive. all is welcome please. |

The reason people went into debt was from the financing thing, I mean nowadays people go into debt from medical stuff and a full on organ transplant is a biggie. Not to mention people got lots of surgery in that world because it was fashionable to get some of those cyberific extras, I mean look at today and the number of peops that live above their means. I mean I may be wrong on that part as far as the setting goes but keeping the party in debt from near constant surgeries (not to mention the ungodly down time) seems unworkable to me. I set up a cyberpunk setting for my players with kind of a Repo! deal going and all I did was either randomly choose or have them decide one or more systems that went from the plague, then they had to decide if they wanted cybersystems to replace it or just a good old fashion transplant. Then based on that they all had their own phantom purchase DC's they had to pay off at some point. Hope I helped. Oh yeah and D20 cybernet has some decent cyber/gene engineering stuff. Then again I think it might be 3rd party or something. |
