Robots in d20 Modern Future.

Hello,


I need to built a Robot as a Pc, but not a humanoid robot... More like r2d2 (StarWars) or claptrap (Borderlands)... I am unsure what template if any I should apply, How should I go about it? how have other Dm/Gm's done this?...


 To Sum up, I am running a game loosely based on Borderlands and need a self-aware / intelligent robot -> aka. ClapTrap to be a Party Member... Please help.

My personal suggestion is to run the robot as a standard PC with no con score and a different method of locomotion. This pretty much sums up how it works.


Then again, this may be too simple, so feel free to just use the robotic PC rules in d20 future. They have a section devoted to that, I'm pretty sure.
