so,once the current D&D game is done with,i'm thinking about starting a d20 modern game in which the pcs start out as repomen after high value targets (boats, planes etc..) and then get cought up in a government conspricy.

So,what type of starting grear should the players get and what could be some of thire targets

Stuff to repossess:

I'm thinking permanent fixtures: gold-inlayed bath tubs, vintage window frames, camphor wood desks bigger than the biggest door frames in the house, etc.

well,
given they would be getting the planes off airports... the Govenment hook practically installs itself due to airport security

The campaign can have really different stands depending just how Over The Top you wanna make it.

As for staring gear,
I dont see any need for campaign specific starting gear other than getting licensed for repo work.  I would figure they should have some skills related to operating the vehicles they take, and skill in hotwiring them (minor toolkit?).

Repo men dont have to kill everyone, the campaign could even be a con artist / swindle style setting ala 'It Takes A Thief' or for the younger crowd, 'Leverage' style jobs

i'm not going to have it too over the top,I know that there really are repomen who go after stuff like this this,i'll just need to be sure to remind them to take the needed skills and perovide an NPC with the right feats as needed
