Hi everyone!

I am playing a level 6 Psion in our current D20 modern campaign - a normal D&D "fanatsy" Psion from the 3.5 PHB. (It's just a one-shot adventure so the DM wanted to have it like this so I could actually manifest some powers without further leveling.) Since "fanatsy" Psions are only proficient with clubs and crossbows, i am wielding a compound crossbow with explosive bolts that deal 2d10 damage each.

Looking at the "Telekinetic Thrust" power with my crossbow in mind, i came up with this idea and I need you guys to tell me if this is possible/overpowered/retarded. You can check out the description of the power here: http://www.dndworlds.net/brwiki/index.php/Telekinetic_Thrust

Using the Overchannel feat i can cast this power at an effective manifester level of 7, allowing me to manipulate up to 7 objects with a total weight of up to 250 lbs.
The first thing I want to try is simply thrusting 7 explosive crossbow bolts at an opponent. Even though i would have to hit with 7 ranged touch attacks, this could ammount to 14 d10 damage, which would be pretty awesome.. :D

Another possibility would be to thrust the enemy in question away from me as well (as long as his weight doesn't exceed the limit). So I would send him flying against a wall and have 6 bolts chase right after him. Hitting the wall would cause 1d6 damage plus 12 d10 damage from the bolts plus any extra damage from falling back to the ground. If this would work, it would be useful to deal a lot of damage and getting the enemy into a bad position at the same time.

All of this is assuming that the objcts all have to move towards the same direction, which isn't really stated in the desription of the power, so that's another thing I would like to know.
IF i could move those objects in different directions it would open up more possibilities for stylish telekinetics, even though I can't really think of a way of using this to deal even more damage.

On a diffrent note: How much damage do granades deal and how are they used? Do they explode right away when thrown normally or is there some sort of delay? I got an idea of throwing a whole bunch (maybe in a bag?) of granades at my enemies (no need to hit anything really, just throw it on the ground near them) and then use the heroic surge feat to get another action that turn to use a fire based psionic power to fry the enemies and at the same time blow up all those granades for some serious damage. What do you think about that?

On a sidenote: we are fighting very big robots from time to time so there is no such thing as "excessive damage". ;)
