First session was an unqualified quasi sucess, in no small part due to the questions all of you answered.
Characters began in a mental ward. The immiediately began planning their escape (which was possible) until inmate movie night.
Characters were shuffled into a movie room to be shown 'Sound of Music'. Julie Andrews began singing 'The hills are alive...with the sounds of...gunfire..." Hopped out of the screen with an acomplice, and began attacking players, who were in various stages of nausea, shaken or being stunned due energy burst that came with her dramatic entrance. Fortunately for the characters, this energy burst took out the orderlies, and they only had to contend with Julie and her accomplice.
After a brief fight, Julie retreated into the screen and players followed, and found themselves in a empty room with a metal door, Julie's captured/wounded/nauseated accomplice who doesn't speak their language, some odd equipment with lettering on it they don't recognize, and footsteps beyond the door...
Are they in Virtual Reality? Another plane of existance? Been transported to the future or past? Or are they really crazy? Is this just a giant personality test with trained actors? The weapons the bad guys had were non-lethal, after all...
Hopefully I'll start GM'ing later this Year. I'm trying to get stuff ready now, even though it won't be until at least September Before I Start, It Being the End of the University year almost.
But yeah, Nice Start to a Campaign There. Try and Keep us Up-to-date on it. Well... Keep me up-to-date on it, Cus it Sounds like a bit of a Laugh. :D

Our heroes, a mercenary sniper, paramedic, MMA wannabe and ex INTERPOL agent, found themselves in a bare room after jumping through a movie screen playing 'The Sound of Music'.
A brief inventory of their captured equipment revealed:
* A finely wrought 'pistol' with strange Mandarin writing on it that fires blue bolts of energy;
* What appears to be a medical kit with Spanish writing on it;
* Two egg-shaped things with Arabic Writing, one saying sunburst and the other spider web.
As our heroes tried to make sense of their situation, one of them began suffering from 'double vision': he appeared to be in two places at once: the bare room and the insane asylum they'd just escaped from. Trying to grapple Asylum guards didn't work, and the other heroes, who couldn't see what he was seeing, wondered if he was off his meds.
Then one intrepid hero heard footsteps outside the door, and the others readied themselves for action.
Just then a Brittany Spears look-alike (or maybe it is Britanny, who knows) popped in behind them (no door), took the MMA wannabe out in two attacks, pointed her double barrel...gun...at them, and asked in Russian:
Who am I in your world?
Satisfied with the heroes answer that she was a unstable pop-star that couldn't sing to save her life, partied with Paris Hilton and had two kids, they joined forces and battled several humanoid like creatures in the hallway beyond.
They started by throwing the 'sunburst' egg out the door into the hallway, closed the door and heard a loud bang. They have no idea what the egg did.
The subsequent fight was in near darkness, making attacking difficult for our heroes. Convinced that their opponents had on night vision goggles, they popped off a pair of wrap-arounds on one (dead?) opponent to discover that the wrap-arounds were...sunglasses.
Hmmmmmmmmm...who wears sunglasses in near darkness? And why were most of their opponents missing them? Had the sunburst egg helped, or was it a dud? What did it do, anyway?
After the fight ended, one looked out a round window and saw that they were on some kind of boat, and in the distance was and island with:
the Statue of Liberty. The bottom half of it, anyway.
That's a Wierd campaign... Sounds like it's gonna turn into somehing wierder though XD
