Our general wealth level is very high, with 3 characters having over 20 wealth, so I don't think having the party average would be fair, they built ther characters so they could buy a bunch of stuff (one is a dilettante, another took the Windfall feat, etc). Does anyone have any suggestions? This is our first d20 campaign, so both the GM and I are a little befuddled. |

For starting at a higher level, page 161 of Urban Arcana explains the method: roll 1st-level wealth as normal, then add the appropriate value from table 7-2 of the CRB "Wealth Bonus by Level." So, a new 3rd-level character would roll 1st-level wealth and add 6, for example. Does that help? |

Then you just say "Poof! LevelUp!" And you write up a sheet for the next level. This of course is done much much easier with a CopyPaste multipage computer document. You end up with a file that has every character level in the guys life, and you just print the page that has the level you want. I ran a game where I told the players to have a page for each level from 1-10, and I will tell you which level we are playing when the game starts. It is the only way I found to prevent cheesy tricks of unplayable levels... like the Sniper guy that just didnt own a gun till he wa 8th level because he wanted to buy a really kickazz gun without wasting Wealth on lesser guns at low levels. Well, if I have you play a level that you havent bought a gun yet.... "sux 2bu" |

| #7DwarfFighterMar 19, 2009 4:26:15 | I use a simple formula: Starting wealth bonus = Starting occupation Wealth bonus + character level + 10. -DF |
| #8layla_minogueMar 19, 2009 14:37:12 | My GM owns the book, what is the bonus from that table (7-2) for stating at 6th level? At level 6 it's +8. Happy spending! |
