What backdoor used to get to the board?

I have had far better luck going thu the D&D page (ignore the Community links)
to the Insider page to get my name on the top as logged in,
then up there I go to my Account page,
and from there I can get the Community link to actually get past the always failing community authorization server

I was trying the mSRD page Community link, the D&D Main community link. the D&D Main community banner, and even the Wizards community link.... this board is painfully hard to get to these days

I hit the "log in" button at the top right. That took me to the forum screen (all the big squares) and then I could scroll down to the d20 Modern forum.

It sure would be nice if we could actually reach the discussion board that they set up for us, and maybe even let us link to it.

Oh come on Orion that would be way too easy. It might even make sense, and we will have none of that here. You have been warned.

I did get it to work a few times going to the d20 Modern page and clicking the Modern forum link which still links to the gleemax forums. But that stopped working. Now just go to D&D, community, D&D forums then this forum.

Wizards must really hate d20 Modern to give us even more headaches to find the forums.

You got the D&D page 'community' banner or topbar link to actually work?
They dont work for me after a bootup,
but I get hit & miss lingering functionality if I get to the Modern Forum and then try the D&D 'community' link again

Yeah, the community banner works for me. Linking from the d20 modern page isn't working for me anymore now.

It's not just the d20 Modern page. It's all of them. Wizards doesn't hate us. It's just that their website is designed and run very, very poorly.

That makes sense. Once I've logged in, I can get in again, but once I shut down Firefox it lose it.

When I click on my bookmark and get the error message, I click the "log in" button at the top of the page. It auto-logs me in, then when I click my bookmark again, it works just fine....

But I never have to click LogIn.

The account server gives me the Fail Page when I try my bookmarks,
but at the top of that page it has a link to 'Account' next to the 'Login'.
I dont log in,
I can use my account page from there, and that has a link to Community... then etc

Same method. I clicked "My Account" like you say you do, then clicked on my bookmark and it worked just fine.

No running around.

Kinda weird that not just the bookmarks won't work right, but you don't have to keep logging in when it glitches. It obviously doesn't log you out....

yes, exactly.
The account server has no doubts just who I am from my cookies,
but the bookmarked & cookied forum servers wont get that info from the account server

It seems that as long as I go through "community wizards com", and not, say, any bookmark I might have made, it will work. Anything else seems to claim there is a database error.
