| #1zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 3:39:42 | Has anyone here statted up wheelchairs (mundane, electrical, hovering, etc) for characters? |
| #2zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 9:10:36 | Standard Manual Wheelchair This is your average manual propelled wheelchair. It is durable, lightweight, and can fold to compact size when not in use, to be carried or placed in a vehicle. One square wide, One square long. Batteries will last for twenty miles until needing to be recharged for eight hours. Can be folded and unfolded for transport as the manual wheelchair can. One square wide, one square long. Crew: 1, (max weight capacity 350 lbs.), Passenger(s): 0, Cargo Capacity: 10 lbs., Top Speed: 30 feet, Defense: 9, Hit Points: 12, Hardness 5, Break DC 20, Size: Large, Purchase DC 23, Restriction: None., weight: 62 ![]() Cover Rules: If a wheelchair is armored: Wheelchair Feat: Wheelchair Operation: You have learned to effectively operate a wheelchair. |

| #4zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 10:28:34 | Apparently, if we're going to make it possible to stat wheelchair racers, there's going to need to be a few wheelchair operation feats... that or we could allow Fast Hero's Increased Speed ability to affect the Manual Wheelchair. |
| #5zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 10:41:23 | Apparently, if we're going to make it possible to stat wheelchair racers, there's going to need to be a few wheelchair operation feats... that or we could allow Fast Hero's Increased Speed ability to affect the Manual Wheelchair. Increased speed should work with the manual wheelchair. Wheelchair racers and faster wheelchairs would be statted from racing wheelchairs. Wheelchair racing (or extended use of the wheelchair's top speed) would probably involve CON or STR checks for the amount of effort involved. It makes sense that just to operate a wheelchair doesn't require a feat, but you could apply feats like vehicle dodge to it...can't think of others for a wheelchair at the moment A techie could jury-rig or modify an electric wheelchair to go faster. |
| #6TheRealOrionAug 06, 2007 12:47:09 | Minor detail: I've seen lots of wheelchairs with little tote-bag kind of things hanging between the handles on the back. The cargo capacity could be something like 5 or 10 pounds. Also, wheelchair useres can keep up with people without much trouble. 5 feet per round sounds pretty danged slow to me. |
| #7zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 13:11:09 | Tote Bags Added, Speed Increased. |
| #8TheRealOrionAug 06, 2007 15:09:53 | People in wheelchairs don't seem to have any trouble keeping up with people who are walking. Base speed isn't the issue, here. The issue is manouverability and terrain. You try to take a high-speed turn in a wheelchair and you'll end up on your face, under the chair. You're just plain screwed on sand, cobble-stone, or mud. Let me suggest this, 30 fee per round, base speed. Just like everyone else, but a turning radius, kind of like flying. If you try to take a turn of more than 90 degrees when moving at full speed, you have to make a Drive/Pilot check or you over-turn the chair. Furthermore, terrain modifiers double for wheelchairs, so if something would normally force you to move at half speed, you're actually at one-quarter speed. Finally, Running in a wheelchair should actually be more difficult because the arms are not built for continuous use the same way that legs are, so the Run multiplier is x3 instead of x4, or x4 with the Run feat. How's that? |
| #9zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 16:35:04 | Drive-by-Attack? |
| #10zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 16:37:32 | I know very little about wheelchairs. All improvements and suggestions help get the stats done. Thanks for the input RealOrion. Balance checks seem more proper for avoiding tipping while turning. Bikes in UA use balance. Drive by attack works, I tried statting the wheelchairs similar to vehicles. I hope this helps you out Ezram. |
| #11TheRealOrionAug 06, 2007 17:09:00 | Hey, if you hadn't started with the numbers we wouldn't have gotten here. Thanks all around! I would love to have a little file of non-motorized vehicles, like bikes, wheelchairs, skateboards, even roller blades (not exactly vehicles, but still). A fight scene with roller blades would be bad ass. |
| #12zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 17:25:26 | On the flipside, anyone here statted motorized scooters / Vespas / Segways? |
| #13zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 19:58:21 | There is a scooter in Urban Arcana along with Bikes, rollers-blades, and skateboards. The non-motorized vehicles still end up using vehicle rules. I would like to see different rules for roller-blades and skateboards such as lists of tricks and maneuvers. I could also stat up different scooters, as the one in UA seems very generic and there are different kind of scooters (gas, electric) Check the D20M skateboarding thread for info on the bikes, rollerblades, skateboards. |

Kit includes all required linkages for remote trigger to user specified chair location, and deployable overshoulder gunsight. Firearm must be removed from Hardpoint (RepairDC10, Fullround) for reloading. Wheelchair Hardpoint TypeII (pl5) PDC14, Mil+3 Same as TypeI, but mounts a dumbfire rocket (LAW/AT4/RPG7) Wheelchair Hardpoint Concealed (pl5) PDC14, Res+2 Same as TypeI, but mounts a Medium or smaller weapon in a concealed mount. Search DC22. Firearm must be removed from Concealed Hardpoint (RepairDC12, 2Fullround) for reloading. Transporter Rockets(pl5) PDC14, Res+2 Singleshot rockets that can either mount to both chair Armrest/Sides or Back & Bottom. As a Move Action, the user picks a single direction of travel, and travels 100' in that direction. Any adverse terrain cause rolls as if traveling 4x base move, and are rolled with a -5 InsaneContraption Modifier. At the end of the travel, retro thrusters blast and the chair is stopped. Anyone in the square behind the chairs direction of travel prior too, or infront of the chair after, the rocket blast causes 2d6 Fire Damage RefSave DC15 all/none. Escape Rocket Boosters (pl5) PDC13 Same mounting as Transporter Rockets, but lack the Retro Thrust to stop the chair after it moves. The chair finishes its 100' move, but maintains a 100' move velocity in the direction of travel, automaticly taking a doublemove each subsequent round. This speed drops by 20' each round by friction, and the user may attempt Braking (Ref/Str DC20) to stop the chair at speeds over 2x character base move, Braking may be done as part of a move action at speeds lower than 2x base. Ejection Seat Sometimes having wheels can let you escape situations the pedestrians cant, and sometimes you are just as hosed as the pedestrians. But not any more, with the MaxiSlammer 14G Ejection Seat added to your wheelchair. With just the press of a button you get catapulted over 60' forward, easily clearing walls & obsticles as much as 20' tall. Now who is stuck in the yard with the zombies & dogs, Mr. My-Legs-Work? | #15mackerelsesAug 06, 2007 21:38:05 | Also shouldn't at the manual wheelchair be size Large? |
| #16zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 21:47:49 | Manual wheelchair size changed to large. |
| #17TheRealOrionAug 06, 2007 22:34:57 | Why would it be large? It takes up slightly more space than a grown person sitting in bulky chair. Sounds medium to me. Just my two cents. |
| #18zombiegleemaxAug 06, 2007 23:13:37 | Sizes once again reduced further to medium for the manual wheelchair, and large for the electric. |
| #19ranger_regAug 07, 2007 2:40:08 | Sizes once again reduced further to medium for the manual wheelchair, and large for the electric. You sure you want to do that? I mean, the electric motorized wheelchair is no larger than a Harley-Davidson hog. |
| #20rellimreebAug 07, 2007 2:55:47 | Someone should stat up a powerchair. I use a wheelchair, scooter and a powerchair and by far the powerchair is the best. I refer to mine as the dozer cause I can move furnature with it. It can easily push a couch and I have on more than one occasion accidentally moved the stove and the frige. It moves well through rough terain like gravel and even dirt. It has a pretty good top speed and if you know how you can adjust the speed to go faster. My wife jokes that if they made a snow blade for it I could plow the driveway. Also just wanted to comment on the wheelchair stuff, a wheelchair is VERY manuverable due to the fact that one wheel can be reversed and it can turn on a dime. I'm not sure that a person should lose thier dex bonus in a wheelchair, maybe take a partial hit but not all. Someone who has been in a wheelchair for a long time can make them do some pretty neat stuff. I had a friend that was in a wheelchair for 30+ years and he could do wheelies and spins and even sqauck the tires on the right pavement. Rellim Reeb |

Someone who has been in a wheelchair for a long time can make them do some pretty neat stuff. It's fixed now. If there's anything else you want to see changed rellimreeb, I'll get to it right away. |
| #23TheRealOrionAug 07, 2007 11:14:29 | This is great. We actually have one or two wheelchair users. What would you suggest, then, in terms of terrain/turning penalties? I'd think that a very high-speed turn in a chair that's not designed for sport would just flip the thing. I've seen it happen once while a coworker was trying to go down a ramp with a steep turn at the bottom. He face-planted, which looked nasty. That said, I've never really used one for an extended period of time, long enough to get good at it. Bluefox: thanks again for doing the notation, here. It's appreciated! |
| #24thedarklordAug 07, 2007 19:17:52 | Transporter Rockets(pl5) That is MY parking space you @#$%!!! |
| #25backstabbistAug 07, 2007 20:04:44 | SO I got this handful of 3.5% uranium pellets... and I'm looking at that wheelchair... ...hmmmm... These are Nuclear... and that is a Wheelchair... ... ...nope, nuthin comes to mind oh well |
| #26rellimreebAug 08, 2007 2:33:39 | I want to make a few comments about what someone brought up earlier about the run speed modifier being x3 instead of x4 because the arms arent built for continuous use like the legs are. In my experiance for the first 3 months this would be true but after that your body adapts and the arm put on a lot of muscle mass. Last year I spent 4 months in a wheelchair and I would go outside and wheel up and down the road with the kids from the area. We would race a lot and after 3 months I was able to win almost everytime. On down and back races I had a huge advantage because I could do a rapid deceleration and spin and take back off so I lost no time on the turn around. By the middle of the 4th month I was actually able to go faster than the wheelchair was able to go(the front tires would wobble and I had to back off) But with the right wheelchair you can go much faster. Also with a wheelchair you can travel more effeciantly than with running, when your running and you stop what happens? YOU STOP. When in a wheel chair you can build up speed and coast and rest your arms for a few seconds and lose very little speed. I also wanted to talk about the wheelchair providing no cover. In the d20 modern world it wouldnt be that hard to make a few minor modifacations to a wheelchair to provide good cover from the rear and sides. Kevlar material on the back and side wouldnt add much wieght and would provide some armor. If you were fleeing someone who was shooting at you all you would need to do is keep your head down(easy to do when going fast) and all that would be exposed would be the calves and feet and even those could be covered. Its just a few thoughts, if ya have questions feel free to ask. I am in and out of wheelchairs due to nerve damage in my back. Rellim Reeb |
| #27jacemachineAug 08, 2007 6:41:40 | Wheelchair Operation feat? Seems like something that should be. Especially considering the learning curve/strength building required to operate a wheelchair. This feat would be taken after the PC has begun to learn the wheelchair, and has put in enough time (2d4+2 weeks?) learning it. It is added to the character and wouldn't interupt a character's normal feat progression After reading through this thread, I had this vision of a PC surviving some catastrophic event that brought them to the brink of death (if not for some good Fort Saves.)-- The PC has lost the use of their legs (as the Resulting Roll on some non-existant Near Death Table has deemed). In some games this character would be retired, and new character rolled up... But with the wheelchair option your character could heroically beat the odds, and remain active, if now propelled by wheels. Other party members could get their friend to hide contraband by hiding it under them or whatnot. Nice work BlueFox! |
| #28zombiegleemaxAug 08, 2007 10:09:57 | Option for providing cover from kevlar added, does one-quarter seems reasonable? For the feat wheelchair operation it can be as an extra feat so it doesn't take up feat slots, and is given free to those with a background in using a wheelchair. About modifying with kevlar and other materials, it's a great idea. rellimreeb: What are your thoughts on being able to perform maneuvers such as in the vehicles section of the core book? Tight turning and spins, jumps and landing them to name a few. Wheelchair Operation: You have learned to effectively operate a wheelchair. Prerequisite: after 3d4 weeks of time spent using a wheelchair this feat is gained. Benefit: Gain the benefit of drive-by-attack while using a wheelchair and the occupant gains a run speed of x4. Can now perform maneuvers without penalty(?). Occupant has full dex bonus to defense. Normal: The occupant has a run speed of x3 and takes a -4 penalty on all maneuvers(?), and can only use attack options before or after the wheelchair's movement for the round ends. Occupant has only half dex bonus to defense (rounded down). |
| #29TheRealOrionAug 08, 2007 11:08:41 | The efficiency of the wheels and the building of upper-body strength occurred to me after I posted but I hadn't had a chance to mention it. Good save. Damn. A wheelchair character with all these options could be a really fun "gotcha!" at a game. Maybe an NPC in a suped-up chair kicking the asses of a group of heroes. It's got possibilities. Only problem is really still terrain. |
| #30zombiegleemaxAug 08, 2007 11:14:22 | For the terrain problem, you could add a maneuver penalty and speed decrease. Does anyone have something in mind for the penalties? |
| #31backstabbistAug 08, 2007 11:25:42 | Wheelchair Kevlar? Check my Gadgets, post #14, I added(edit) Kevlar & other material armor back on the 6th. |
| #32irishroverAug 08, 2007 11:32:06 | Option for providing cover from kevlar added, does one-quarter seems reasonable? For the feat wheelchair operation it can be as an extra feat so it doesn't take up feat slots, and is given free to those with a background in using a wheelchair. About modifying with kevlar and other materials, it's a great idea. I agree that the feat should be free after a certain amount of time...but at the same time, if the character regains full use of his or her legs (Medical miracle/major healing spell/whatever) there should be significant penalties for some time in most cases--at least for things that require split second reactions like combat. It would, I expect, take time to regain normal mobility. After I was down with a sprained ankle for a bit, I was certainly boxing less effecively for a bit (in game terms, perhaps a -1 to AC and hit rolls for a week) and that was only a couple weeks out of action. So--long time in wheelchair (long enough to get the feat of wheelchair opperation for free) gives penalties for a bit when/if use of legs is regained. Note that vehicle rules include facing, so I would modify the cover as follows, if the wheelchair is armored: From front or top: No cover From side: 1/4 cover From Rear: 3/4 cover Does this seem reasonable? |
| #33zombiegleemaxAug 08, 2007 12:21:54 | Those will be the cover rules IrishRover, and there will be penalties as you suggested for the wheelchair operation feat. Maybe a slight speed penalty too on top of the -1 to hit and AC such as speed reduced by 5 feet?. I've placed the cover rules and Backstabbist's gadget list underneath the wheelchairs so it's easier to find and all in one group. |

| #35rellimreebAug 08, 2007 13:53:23 | I dont have the corebook handy to look up the vehicle moves you were talking about but the stuff you did name gave me an idea. What about a skill for extreme wheelchair moves, would be dex based. All we would need is a list of wild moves someone might try in a wheelchair and figure out the DC for them, that way when you wanna try something wild on a wheelchair you can just roll your skill. Terrain has been brought up a lot. One thing that most people dont think about is that someone in a wheelchair looks at things differently than those who can walk. We can map out a way to get around area that are diffacult to get through or find the areas that are the easiest to go through. Also any rough terrain thats 20 foot or under most people in a wheelchair can power through and lose very little speed. Anything over 20 feet would cause a problem. cut grass, light gravle would be 1/2 speed high grass and heavy gravel would be 1/4 speed sand, rough dirt would be 1/8 th speed Some terrain most people would think is impossable for a wheelchair to get through but you would be suprized, where theres a will theres a way and some people have very strong wills. I have seen people who will literally fall out of thier wheelchair and crawl while dragging thier wheelchair behind them when they couldnt wheel through an area. The same is done on stairs at times. Also the possablity for hidden weapons on or inside a wheelchair is insane, there is so much that can be done with a modified wheelchair. Like in alien ressurection, the guy in a wheelchair was able to take parts off his chair and assemble a gun. Heck even just a pop out blade in the front would do massive damage. Imagine a 10 inch blade on the front of a chair, mounted high it would hit the knee or calf, mounted low you could hamstring someone very easily. Just a few thoughts, feel free to ask anything else. Rellim Reeb |
| #36zombiegleemaxAug 08, 2007 14:21:04 | Backstabbist could make a concealment gadget/modification (we need more gadgets if you're up to it backstabbist ). For the materials scale, go for it. The materials list can be used for a lot of other stuff, it gives me ideas for vehicles. About the terrain movement, could there be modifications or gadgets to improve the speed and accessibility on terrain rellim? Feel free to list other wheelchair types, I'm thinking to make a lightweight design for increased speed, we've already got powerchair to be statted next.If people can start listing stunts we could start making DCs for them. Rather than make a new skill, balance could take the part of the skill. I'll take a shot at a few. The turns, braking, and avoiding hazard would be useful when you modifications for a lot of increased speed and the run modifier. Here are some stunts: Jump (distance jumped and a DC to land), Hard turns (45, 90, 180 degrees), Hard braking, Avoid Hazard (DC depending on the hazard), Ram, Regain control (if hit by vehicle, going downhill, after not avoiding hazard, etc.) |
| #37rellimreebAug 08, 2007 15:12:35 | There is a electric wheelchair/powerchair that has like 12 inch tires that can change position so that the wheels are stacked one set on top of the other, this lifts the wheelchair up and makes it so it can go through stuff a normal wheelchair cant get through like snow. A set up like that can also be used to get up and down stairs, the wheels can actually walk the stairs. As for a normal wheelchair I'm guessing that specialized tires could be made to help in rough terrain, wider tires, thicker tred. as for gadgets for d20 modern a pair of hydrolic rams would be sweet, would work for when your stuck or if you need to get a door open. A brush gaurd/push bar with optional machine gun mounts. Guns mounted on the armrests with autofire for straffing an area while moving. spring loaded arm in the back for throwing grenades. Ginsu attitude ajusters on the front for when people cut in line in front of you at the store. Quick release arm rests that work as a pair of batons. bolo launcher mounted just under the feet. electric shock handles for when a bad guy is pushing you. Will try to think of some more gadgets later. Rellim Reeb |

Now whom is he that is Chairboy... oh, and your cell phone is now Roaming so dont bother calling for help, and any cats in boxes you have are neither Dead nor Alive Thug#2: Man, this sux. Dr H : You think this is easy for me? I am coexisting at all points in the HawkingsVerse at once, but you dont her me complaining about it. |
| #41jacemachineAug 09, 2007 0:46:26 | ... and any cats in boxes you have are neither Dead nor Alive... ![]() Smart jokes-- lol! |
| #42zombiegleemaxAug 11, 2007 17:22:03 | All of this is giving me ideas for a BBEG using all of the above. |
| #43jonathanchanceAug 12, 2007 9:03:09 | OK, we have the Simpsons reference, but no one statted out the spring-mounted boxing glove? |
| #44backstabbistAug 12, 2007 9:16:33 | The problems with the spring mounted Boxing Glove are twofold: 1. The painfully slow reload time: Something that wont use advanced power for operation wouldnt use advanved power for reload. One would assume a winch reset system, even though done with an electric motor would be horribly slow without a large electrical outlay, whichthen asks why springs instead of solenoid.... which would be answerd that the spring can store more power than the solenoid can produce... which means slow energy buildup accumulating into the spring for massive release... and we are back to a slow geared down winch to retract a spring glove far more powerfull than the electricity used to operate (reset) the system. 2. A Spring Boxing Glove would mount to the chair Armrest/Side... making its punches land above the knees & below the belt.... you figure out just where that is on your own ![]() |
| #45zombiegleemaxAug 12, 2007 19:52:25 | No more derailing, please. Even if a thread is "over", you don't have to warp it into something else. |
| #46backstabbistAug 12, 2007 22:23:53 | ???????????????????? ... oh, and ??? Just what is the derailing now? WheelchairGadget Requests? WheelchairGadget discussion about said Request? ... having Wheelchair Gadgets exist at all? For a guy that wanted stats for HoverChairs, you seem to have a very narrow field of what is on topic. Maybe me & Blue were wrong to post stuff about wheelchairs here... cause now I have no idea how to stay on topic when working up the Hoverchair numbers. You want me & Blue to kill the Wheelchair Gadget List? |
| #47zombiegleemaxAug 13, 2007 1:51:01 | Here's the spring powered boxing glove, reloaded by manually resetting the spring. Its effectiveness in combat is rather limited by a slow reload time, short reach, low damage from being a boxing glove, and the difficulty in 'aiming' the glove at an opponent. Spring Powered Boxing Glove (PL5) PDC8 Mounts to left or right chair armrest top. Can be used to make an attack against an opponent in the square in front of the wheelchair with a -4 penalty on the attack roll. Full round action to reload (by reseting the glove). Can choose to deal nonlethal damage without further penalty. Damage 1d4:, critical: 20, damage type: bludgeoning, weight: 3 lbs. backstabbist is the gadget master, but I decided to try making one (so feel free to modify this base for the glove backstabbist). Wheelchair requests are taken seriously since people must have a use for them if they want to see stats for the requested gadgets, and it adds to the gadget library. For hoverchairs, i'll look through d20 future for some ideas. This thread is all about wheelchairs. That includes any gadgets for wheelchairs. Requests and suggestions give additional ideas for new gadgets. |
| #48backstabbistAug 13, 2007 11:24:13 | Blue, I added you toy to my gadget list near the other melee toys, as a Guest Gadgeteer |
| #49zombiegleemaxAug 13, 2007 11:43:27 | There are vehicle modifications in d20 Apocalypse, so I wonder how much the "Wheelchair Accesible" one would cost and what mechanical benefits it would bestow. |
| #50jacemachineAug 21, 2007 6:23:17 | Here's the spring powered boxing glove, reloaded by manually resetting the spring. Its effectiveness in combat is rather limited by a slow reload time, short reach, low damage from being a boxing glove, and the difficulty in 'aiming' the glove at an opponent. Mount this badboy on the rear of the wheelchair, and you don't have to worry about foes grappling you and the chair from behind! Ah-Ha! Dr. Hawking is busy educating! I will successfully use Move Silently and Hide to creep up behind him and... Ah-Ha! I have grabbed your handles good doctor! You will go anywhere I wish! :D Of course, you'd need help in resetting it... unless you had a motorized gadget that resets it. |
| #51hochiuAug 21, 2007 12:44:38 | We played a d20 Modern zombie survival game once. My friend's character was Lebenon Smith, a Vietnam war vet who was in a wheel chair because he had no legs. ... It didn't end particularly well. |
| #52backstabbistAug 21, 2007 12:47:59 | Jace- I put an edit in for the Rearward Boxing Glove on the gadget list Hochiu- Maybe he just needed some of the Chair Gadgets to make him more formidable |
| #53type2demonAug 22, 2007 18:00:09 | Man, We are forgetting one of the most classic wheelchair characters ever! Ironside Check out the dvd trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bp-6MB0zU0M&mode=related&search= |
| #54hochiuAug 22, 2007 18:06:49 | Hochiu- Oh no, its not that he did poorly. He did very well, actually, and he wanted us to mount an m60 on his wheel chair because he was the only one with the feat to use the weapon. But the player's an egoist at times, particularly when he gets a smidgeon of power or advantage over the other players (like a rocket launcher). So he lords that stuff over us and tries to make us do what he wants through coercion and terror. So, facing down his rocket launcher, I took my sledge hammer and mangled the left wheel of his wheel chair to the point where he would just turn in a circle if he moved and threatened to leave him for the zombies. |
| #55jacemachineAug 23, 2007 20:29:37 | How about stats for a racing wheelchair? |
| #56backstabbistAug 24, 2007 3:06:42 | So, facing down his rocket launcher, I took my sledge hammer and mangled the left wheel of his wheel chair to the point where he would just turn in a circle if he moved and threatened to leave him for the zombies OK, looks like you need to install my latest Wheelchair Gadget Ejection Seat Sometimes having wheels can let you escape situations the pedestrians cant, and sometimes you are just as hosed as the pedestrians. Ejection Seat (pl5) PDC20 Must mount to chair Seat, does not interfere with Bottom location equipment. MEA to activate, instant & Non-Provoking travel to 60', can clear 20' obsticles that are between 10' & 40' from launch point. At the end of travel, user is Prone & legs are paralyzed. This is nothing new to Wheelchair users, but the impact of the 14G acceleration will crush the vertebre of users inducing paralyzed legs. Optional Remote Trigger PDC7, radio remote control for the Ejection, 200' range. Jace- I thought we were going to get the HoverChair first, then the Racer |
| #57jacemachineAug 24, 2007 6:05:33 | There was also a specific request on the first page to stat up a HOVEROUND too, I believe. I suck at statting things, pretty much. But I like pictures. ![]() So I guess we have three different things to get statted. |
| #58backstabbistAug 24, 2007 10:39:09 | That one is easy, A. Living Construct, sentient wheelchair turns itself left & right B. Haunted Wheelchair, Possesses & uses new owner to resolve murdered prior owned C. Demonic Wheelchair, Taking the form of a wheelchair, Gozar the Gozarian will destroy the world. D. Trapped Wheelchair CR1, Will DC5 or Dizzied(Dazzeled) by frequent LeftRight aggitation |
| #59rellimreebAug 24, 2007 22:10:33 | I lost my last post cause the site went down for maintanace while I was writing the post. One of the ideas I had was mounting a circular bladed weapon to each wheel hub with a quick release so that a pair of melee or ranged weapons are always close at hand. If the character is good with throwing weapons then there could be multiple mounting points on the rims for stacks of throwing stars or stacks of throwing knives on the spokes. All this could be made easy to conceal by adding a thin decorative shell on the outside of the wheel that can be poped off when needed. As for stating up the powerchairs, make sure you give it a good speed and manuvarablity and an insane pushing power. There is no piece of furnature in my house that I cant move with my powerchair.
